LHSAA round 2
Used to have regional matchups the first 2 rounds before power rankings.

Bi- district then regional

Exactly. We'd play Shreveport first round then another close game second round.

The old Acadiana rolling start. Always the biggest factor in their games. Will the refs let them get away with it or make them actually get set? If they're allowed to roll, it's almost impossible to stop them.

Ahh the annual rolling start conspiracy. I can assure you that at no point in the game does Davidson tell his line to stop "rolling". Davidson heavily emphasizes explosion off of the snap. You seem to have confused the two. Because of the explosiveness of the offensive line, some illegal motion penalties may be called but their game plan never changes. Do you really think that the referees are that oblivious to your so say "rolling start"? C'mon man give it up.

Ask the Ponchatoula guy, he's the one that brought it up, as did choupiquesushi who I'm pretty sure is a PBS guy. Oh and Supa who is an STM guy. Seems like it comes from knowledgeable posters, who generally don't even play Acadiana.

You seem to not know the rules. You cheat, period. Your line does not get set for a second. Whether or not idiot refs allow you to cheat or not directly coincides with your success. "Explosiveness off the ball" My arse

They have done it for years, lots of veer teams do the same thing

Do it until they stop you or penalize you

WM is a veer team and has never done it. Acadiana was irrelevant before they started the rolling start. Now as you pointed out, in the playoffs they get refs that aren't used to it and miraculously they start running over teams.

Butt hurt is a hard thing to over come and I can understand your frustration but lashing out and calling people cheaters is juvenile dude. I've been around the veer and this offense my entire life and Acadiana's offensive line has been doing the same thing since 1984. Your false accusations are hilarious.

Another intriguing matchup in the next round is St. James vs. Many. The QB for SJH (Narcisse) is the best HS QB I've seen since Ryan Perilloux. If he's not a 5-star recruit I don't know what is. And the crazy thing is, he's only a sophomore.

You are in serious denial. You are seriously going to sit here and bald faced lie? So Acadiana gets set for a full second on offense before every snap?

Eta And I have been saying all year Acadiana would go deep in the playoffs regardless of what they did in the regular season.

The accusation is not false, broski. Get over yourself
My problem is, that they should have to do it everytime. When the o lines hands hit the ground they go. I timed it at around .3-.5 seconds about 20 times in a row, then one play they go "on 2" so phs sees hands hit ground and go and get called for offsides. Thats how its cheating. You cannot decieve the defense of a snap, which is what the rolling start does. Because your RT stopped 0 times the whole game. He was prepping himself to blow someone up, which he did, because he never stopped moving.

First of all West Monroe is not a true veer team dude, maybe they used to be, but not in the last 8+ years. So your point is irrelevant. Second of all the reason why Acadiana has been running over teams in the playoffs the last two years is because of there phenominal defensive efforts. Did "the rolling start" hold Ponchatoula to 28 points? I think not. Acadiana's offense struggled throughout the regular season because they didn't have a steady hand at QB and fumbled more times than they converted first downs it seemed. In week 10 they put in their linebacker at QB and gained momentum from their. Once again I can absolutely 100% assure you that Acadiana doesn't change the way the offensive linemen come off the ball from week 1 through week 15.

No one said you change. The Refs change. You run the rolling start non stop.

So explain how they can manage to play a regular season game say against Lafayette with out 40 illegal motion violations.

Probably the same way Bama ran a pick play to beat LSU.

And how is a West Monroe supporter going to sit here and accuse anyone of "cheating" and shakey rule bending? C'mon dude.
