So you admit that you're so biased that you will dismiss facts to knight for Kobe. Got it!

You're obviously slow. I said as much yesterday.

And yet you told me no one was saying that, and now you're saying, "No shite a coach said that." Sweet contradiction.

I said nobody said after watching game four. Reading Comp isn't your friend.

If discussing the same player, I think they're synonyms. I don't think a guy can be more complete but not as good compared to himself. But I can see the other side if you think it to be the other way.

Fair enough. I think you can be a more complete player but not as good when describing the same player. When your athletic ability and skills decrease it can cause you to focus on more technical aspects. That being said To me LeBron is not better of a player, but more complete. He is still the best all around player in the world, but he may not be the most talented anymore.

Jordan averaged 44 and 36 ppg in the playoff series where Chicago got swept. I think I'm willing to say that the losses were not on him.

Well, you can argue he's less talented than Miami LeBron, but he's certainly still the most talented.

I'm not convinced his athletic skills are noticeably in decline yet.

100% fair. Both players have series losses on their resumes that shouldn't count as knocks on their legacy. MJ has some early in his career. LeBron has some as well, the Magic series and Finals series loss to the Spurs off the top of my head.

But half of lebrons 4361 "shots" are dunks.

Actually only 6.5% of Lebron's "shots" are dunk attempts. The narratives that people come up with are ridiculous.

To break it down further, LBJ has only made 273 dunks in his playoff career. That's 546 points of his 5960 career playoff points. So 9.2% of his points are from dunks.

This is all per Basketball Reference.

It's easy for LeBron to score more with fewer shots because he's allowed to travel 11 feet with the ball.

Then, if anyone gets within two feet of him, he flops so he can get two FT's.

This is laughable. Have you ever watched Jordan?

Why post in a basketball thread when you clearly have never watched either of the players being discussed?

The amount of times Lebron has "flopped" are greatly outweighed by the amount of times he is hit during a drive with no call.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Lebron doesn't flop anywhere near as much as he used to?

Cause MJ definitely didn't get the benefit of the doubt with calls, right?

The facts disagree. LeBron lives in the paint and yet doesn't have one of the highest FT rates in the league. He has bit of that Shaq thing going on where he absorbs hits easier than most others so it doesn't appear to be a foul. Or in other words, the exact opposite of what you said.

Lebron got mugged several times in game 4 and didn't get the call. The argument that he's a flopper should be dead

Now I'll agree that Bron gets fouled a ton and it's not called.... that does happen more than he flops.

It's possible to get legitimately fouled a lot (whether it's called or not) and still be a flopper at the same time.

He's past a lot of the bad flops he used to do though.

Agreed wholeheartedly. It's why I'd give Jordan a slight edge over LeBron even if he was 2-4 in the Finals - the same slight edge I'd give him at 6-0.

Carrying your team to a championship is honorable and important, but losing to superior teams when you were great individually is not a knock.

You think the Cavs were loaded when Lebron was there the first time?

Lebron took the Cavs to the finals as a 23 year old.

Potentially a historic night for LeGOAT: surpassing MJ in playoff scoring, another NBA record for LeGOAT, and advances to 7th straight finals.

And vice versa, he could potentially prolong surpassing the record to 34 games after the point MJ accomplished it...and get another L at home from a team that they've already beaten by 44 points.
