set it up so it *appears* MJ is superior, but once you dig a little deeper, the numbers clearly favor the king

MJ never played in game 7. He didn't play garbage competition either.
The competition is damn near exactly the same. Why do "game 7s" matter. Bron has the better winning pct.......

It took him 32+ extra playoff games to beat MJ's scoring mark.
And 116 less shots........

No, he isnt. Bron has done it with less shots, and a better win pct

The numbers strictly as it regards to points supports him

Dukke doesn't do stats. He likes to rely on nostalgia and his memory...

ETA: I take that back. He does one stat: rings.

do people discount lebron for reaching the finals and losing when michael didnt reach the finals that many times?

losing in the second round is better than making it to the finals and losing? SOS dont understand

Yes. Hence the 6-0 arguments.

So this is the shitty metric that you're clinging to these days.

It took Bron 210 playoff games to win three championships. STFU about winning percentage, troll.

LeBron is 10-8 in elimination games. MJ is 6-7.

LeBron also has the better PPG, RPG and FG% in elimination games.

And going to a lot of game 7's. Something Jordan didn't need to do. The LeBron jockstrap holders can eat their hearts out on this stat.

Is this a new knock on LeBron now? I've seen this alot lately and it makes no sense as a criticism. Is LeBron going to two Game 7s in the Finals, and winning both, a bad thing.

Lebron took a 73 win team to 7 games and beat them. The horror.

My point is that if you have a high % of fgs on dunks, it doesn't make you a better player. If deandre Jordan has the same # of FG attempts as Lebronnor Jordan, he would have more point than them. But it doesn't mean he's a better than both. It's not a good gauge.
If DeAndre Jordan shot the ball 20 times per game with his 70% or whatever it is FG% then yes, he would be an all time great, actually, even if it was on mostly dunks.

You're basically knocking LeBron for taking more high % shots. What sense does that make?

Simplest way to do this, if you're saying more of Lebron's points came on dunks and it's a higher % shot, then why didn't MJ dunk more?

And still hasn't won half of his finals appearances. Despite the moving of the goalposts, all I see is that MJ didn't face elimination games nearly as much despite playing much tougher opponents.

This post makes perfect sense as you've made it very clear you prefer players who score less points on more attempts(see Kobe more clutch than LeBron)

At least you're consistent!!!
