Golf, Tiger Woods could have unarguably taken this spot, but his slump will forever have him just in the same class as Nicklaus.

if by same class you mean, a numerically lesser class then sure.

Basketball, what we thought was going to be Michael Jordan may be surpassed by LeBron James in the next few years, making them forever rivals in the GOAT conversation.

sure he will be

So, is there any other athlete that has earned the title GOAT other than Usain Bolt?

for now, track records are just there to get broken.

it also depends on what you mean by "his sport"
100M and 200M dash? sure
Track and Field? really hard to say.

Ruth had no competition

Based on what??? every other player played on the same field and stadiums and faced the same pitchers as Ruth did when he played.... Ok, Why wasn't anyone else as good as Ruth when he played????? Like I have said Ruth was sooo much better than anyone else its comical... Sprinkle in a few great seasons by others, they in NO WAY compared to what Ruth did between 1920 and 1931...... You want to hold it against RUTH that Blacks and such weren't allowed to play back then????

No, not yet... She could easily get boobs and fat in 3 years. I've watched girls at 16 final at nationals and graduate hs slow as frick. Aerodynamics are a bitch in our sport. She bad as f right now no doubt. She > Janet though.

You don't know what "class" or "laughable" mean.

No, but I want to assert that Bonds was better against a full field of competition, and even comparatively better (i.e. the gap between him and the second best hitter in the game was massive).

Barry Bonds at his absolute peak was a goddamn cheat code. He'd see three or four hittable pitches a night and take two of them yard. He was amazing.

Moss was better.

Soooo

Gretzky
Serena
Bolt
Phelps

...are the only inarguable ones, yes?

And if somebody wants to argue Serena isn't GOAT, then let me kindly advise you in advance to never go full retard.

Alien Test.

Moss is the first receiver chosen by anyone who doesn't want the world to end.

Yes that's why NFL.com and players consider Rice greatest player of all time but he isn't greatest WR of all time.

Just because he was 6'4 and caught the deep ball doesn't make him the greatest.

Gretzky, Phelps, Serena, and Bolt have the best claims right now.

Phelps will likely head into Rio as the favorite in 2-3 individual events and may end up with 5 golds next summer.

Gatlin ran a bad 100 last weekend so I'm curious to see the 100 meter showdown next year. 200 meters seems to be a near lock for Bolt though.
