2010 Cavs lost 21 games all season. 2011 Cavs lost 26 games in a row. LeBron is that good.

The east sucks but a healthy wiz team would have been a great series vs the cavs

Doubt it. The only team who had a chance in the east was the Bulls. Wizards would've won maybe 1 game.

This years Hawks and last year's Pacers seasons were eerily similar.

Well that's crazy, seeing how they didn't even make the playoffs

The East was never as good as the West in the Jordan years either, but you didn't hear people criticizing Jordan for it.

Hmm, the Pistons won the NBA championship the 2 years before the Bulls won 3 straight. Detroit, NY, IND and a few others were pretty solid. The West wasn't anything like it has been with the East/West discrepancy we see now.

Ah, I see, you're too young to know any better.

OP, it is definitely a bit of both. LBJ is great but the East is pathetic. If they can somehow win the Finals, then it doesn't matter how weak a conference is because you prove your metal there. Like MJ never losing.

I think Kobe circa 2010 could lead this Cavs team to the finals, but that's about it.

I fully realize this post is stupid.

Like Van Gundy said, "...he's basically taking the Knicks(Shumpart and JR Smith) to the Finals.."

Mosgov (Knicks 2010-2011 and first NBA team; trade to Denver in package for Melo)
Shumpart (drafted by the Knicks in 2011; sent out in contract dump)
Smith (2012-2015; sent out in contract dump)

So Lebron whooped the Hawks arse with these former Knicks players and Tristan Thompson.

^ Valid, but the biggest name player on their opponent is who? Jeff Teague? Kyle Korver? No one is really going to be impressed when they look back on this series in NBA history

Let's break it down...he took the Cavs to the finals by himself. He left and they didn't make the playoffs for 4 years.
Meanwhile, he goes to Miami and is in the Finals all 4 of those years, winning 2 titles. Leaves Miami and they don't make the playoffs.
Goes back to the Cavs and they'll be in the finals again, albeit with a much better supporting cast than his previous run with them.

The dude has been the best player on the planet for years now and it shows

The only thing proven to me in the playoffs thus far is that the Hawks can't score for shite when the defensive play is ratcheted up and the rim gets smaller. They have shown this in all 3 series. In fact, it started after the all star break as bubble teams started putting in max effort to compete for the 7 and 8 seeds. The Hawks looked like a different team from the AS break to now. Good foundation moving forward but they still lack a piece or two to make a finals.

LeBron obviously isn't that good if Bugs Bunny hasn't asked him to play a game in space yet. Facts are facts

Have you considered that they may not need him at the moment? I mean they didn't need Michael until the Monstars stole those NBA players' skills. If all is well in Looney Toon land, LeBron wouldn't be needed.

You couldn't say that about a healthy Durant? Harden?Curry?

there is no way durant or harden could do what lebron is doing, both based on their limitations and past playoff performance

curry? maybe, but i doubt it. i doubt his body could handle the grind of being the only guy on a team night in, night out
