I think Kobe circa 2010 could lead this Cavs team to the finals, but that's about it.

the last time kobe was on a team this devoid of talent he demanded a trade and the lakers sucked major dick

so...doubtful

LeBron is that great. Without him, Cleveland has a lottery pick. Without him, Miami misses the playoffs. No other player in the NBA is even close to as good as him

The Cavs roster (minus Love and sometimes Kyrie) is much better than the Lakers with Luke Walton and Smush Parker.

It is not even close.

curry? maybe, but i doubt it. i doubt his body could handle the grind of being the only guy on a team night in, night out

Lebron is the only guy that can do it.

You serious Clark? The East is total fricking dogshit this year. The Hawks are in the ECF, the Hawks.

You mean the Hawks that had a slightly better winning percentage against the West and the East? Those Hawks?

Yeah the Hawks the team that beat the Cave 3-1 in the regular season, how is that working out?

I think it's working out great. I was just pointing out your poor logic that the East is terrible BECAUSE the Hawks are in the finals when the Hawks did well against the West. The East may be terrible but not because the Hawks are in the ECF.

Those two rosters are not even remotely comparable.

Considering Iverson was able to do it, I think Curry is built a little bit better to handle "the grind".

Dwight Howard and Iverson have done it in fairly recent Eastern Conference history. No reason to think others can't.

Did anyone on Howard's Magic or Iverson's Sixers do anything noteworthy after the star left their respective team minus maybe Dikembe?

Acting like LeBron is the only one that could do this is borderline ridiculous considering it's been done before by others not named LeBron.

You can make the case for Iverson but that Magic team was one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the league. They caught on fire in the postseason. Rashard Lewis, Hedo, Nelson....hardly a team of a scrubs.

Their entire team was on fire NBA Jam style in the ECF that year. shite was unreal. It was the most helpless feeling as a Cavs fan that year.

This year's Cavs are also one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the league, and #2 in the playoffs. You can't just discredit the Magic because they caught fire from 3 when Cleveland has done the exact same thing to a lesser extent this postseason...

Rashard, Nelson, and Hedo all absolutely disappeared once Dwight left. Hedo and Rashard were at least solid role players before teaming with Dwight. Jameer? Role player and basically an average PG post-Dwight.

You can't really compare either of those situations with what Lebron is doing.

This is Lebrons first year playing with these players/coach/team and he is also leading them to the finals while losing 1 top 15 player in the first round and having another top 15 player missing games and only being at ~60%

And you can say the east was down all you want. Hawks still won 60 games and owned most of the west during the regular season. They are a good team.

And trying to argue he has great role players? Hey I love these guys and am glad they are here but come on...

Delly should be playing in Europe right now. Mozgov was an average center at Denver and shump and jr smith weren't doing shite with the Knicks.

Lebron elevates his teammates games like no one else has ever done. He makes average role players into great role players.

I think the Cavs will get buttfricked in the finals but them making it to the finals without Kevin love and with a hobbled kyrie who can barely even play is pretty astounding

So he lost two top 15 players...how tough. Dwight and AI didn't have such a luxury.
