Obviously, i think its a little bit of both, but if you had to choose one, which is it?

I was having a debate with a friend earlier. I think lebron is that good. Would cp3 lead this cavs team to the finals? Anthony davis?

The East, particularly in the playoffs this year, sucked so hard.

Third choice--maybe David Blatt is an evil genius.

You already know the answer, why do you feel like you need validation from us? This shouldn't be a question.

Ill rephrase. What other players could lead the cavs to the finals? With no love and a hobbled kyrie?

AD? CP3? Westbrook?

the lebron hate really does make people miss this

lebron is about to lead a team trotting out tiomfey mozgov and jr smith in the starting lineup to the finals (likely sweeping the ECF)

he's not running out there with bosh and wade this year

You think nontheless is a Lebron hater? It's a legit question, how bad is the East? The one seed is fricking terrible. They damn near got taken out by Brooklyn

Timofey Mozgov isn't a bad player.

But, you're right that he isn't on the level of Wade or Bosh.

surprised you have to ask.

Lebron nearly won the NBA championship his rookie year, with a cast of guys you would not pick for your team on the playground.

But why? The correct answer is both, no need to force one to be picked. They're not mutually exclusive. He's great and the East is bad

What Lebron is doing isn't anything new, he did the same thing with Mo Williams and Delonte West.

Like Van Gundy said, "...he's basically taking the Knicks(Shumpart and JR Smith) to the Finals.."

I really like the Hawks and are pulling for them hard this year, but they really haven't played well in the playoffs. They might've lost in the first round in the West this year. I think that tells you all you need to know about the East.

ATL definitely would've lost in the 1st, Cleveland may have too.

To answer the rephrased question: I don't think AD could do it at this point in his career. Maybe a healthy Durant could, maybe Harden could. CP3 I'd bet against
