How to fix the extra point

My Extra point options
1. Choose to go for 1 extra point -keep everything the same as is
2. 2 Point conversion change-ball spotted at the 10 yard line.
3. 3 point conversion- 55 yard field goal try/ once the ball is spotted the coach can't call time out and change his mind.

Here is what I would do:
The person who kicks the extra point had to have been on the field when the touchdown was scored.

Both teams' ST have to spin around a bat 20 times and immediately get into their positions, then kick the XP or go for 2 within 2.1 seconds.

It's always been virtually automatic. I think the conversion rate was 90-95% even in the 60s. Now it's 95-100%. This is finding something to complain about. Football has genuine issues... this is not one of them.

Yep, they have more pressing issues to deal with than the pat. The poster making the analogy to a leading business standing still is way off base. A company shouldn't be tweaking shite just to do it.

I am not for changing. If I had to propose one, though, I would go flag football style.

The Head Coach should have to kick the extra point.

The easiest, most logical fix, if you had to change it, is to just eliminate the kick , let the team have 7 points for a TD, don't waste time with the kick that will be made probably over 99% of the time.
And if you want to go for 2, you lose the automatic point, and get either 6 or 8 points depending on if you convert.

pretty much where I stand. It risks the players to injury for something that is the closest thing to automatic in football.
