The pels can't win a playoff series w Davis as their #1. I was saying that 3 years ago and haven't been proven wrong yet. Come find me when he gets over that first rd playoff victory hump.

This season, sure?

Add me to that LE $500 bet, or really make it for as much as you want. That'll be easy money.

100$ makes it more collectible. 500$ someone is more likely to say gtfo I'm not paying you.

So 100 bet, this is year 1. So he has 4 seasons after this one. Deal?

Need to add Karl Anthony Towns if you mention AD. You can argue he's already just as good as AD

He's had a ridiculously good rookie season, but 54 games isn't a big enough sample size IMO

Ain't gonna win a rd1 series without home court more times than not. Pels are 2 year minimum from a top 4 seed. That leaves 2 years of maybes IMO. I'll take my chances in that with what I've seen out of the pels management.

If you don't want to put him on the list now, that's fine...but he will be as good or better than AD in 2 years minimum.

That's definitely fair, but i agree with Alex that you just can't say he's as good as AD right now IMO.

He may very well have more upside though, which is quite the compliment.

Super weak because there are no big men

In 2006 the top 6 players were

Kobe
Duncan
Wade
Dirk
Lebron
and of course Nash who won MVP + KG Kidd Shaq and Iverson

To be fair, it was the easiest prediction of all time.

No. You really can't make that argument at all.

However, KAT will probably end up being just as good (if not better). He's really awesome.

But AD progressed over the course of 3 years. You just never know with rookies. The league has a long long history of players being awesome early and fading fast. We will see (I think KAT will be elite).

1992 dream team: so stacked (even removing Bird/Magic with age argument), guys on '94 US team couldn't make cut (G.Payton, Isaiah Thomas, Shaq, etc)

League had Kemp, Reggie Miller, Kevin Johnson, Mutombo, Tim Hardaway, Sprewell, A.Mason, Mitch Richmond, Alonzo Mourning, Larry Johnson, Rod Strickland, Mark Price....etc etc etc

Yeah, which is partially true and sort of an overreaction by Houston fans. Harden is an elite player. He needs specific pieces around him (defensive players, mostly) and a coach that he respects to dog him, but he is elite.

His defense and heart sucks. But he is an elite offensive player.

He is good, really good. But I think since his injury, he's on the backside of his career.
