The official is a 14 year veteran....he's been around the block enough times to make sure he watches, not only what he says, but how he says it.

It does sound like an attempt to divert the situation over to the official, but he's not going to take it lying down....so those who are claiming he used a slur, they better saddle up. It's one thing claim it to the coach and quite another to claim it while testifying under penalty of perjury.

They did this in the wrong state. Texas don't give a cap about their race baiting asses. It will only dig a deeper hole for them.

A news agency in the area says the source for the alleged racial slurs by the official who was attacked was....wait for it....the two players who attacked him. I_am_shocked; shocked I say.

The UIL is having an emergency meeting this a.m. to take testimonies as part of their investigation. I am absolutely sure the HC, the asst. coaches, and all of the officials will be questioned. I don't know whether they will compel the two players to testify since there's an open police investigation.

I believe the Official already has his lawyer working on a suit for Defamation of Character, because of the lies the kids are portraying.

I hope so. I know the kids probably don't have anything, but maybe the parent will. I hope they get sued, get thrown in jail, and never make this mistake again.

I'm super shocked that a bunch of minors are now saying that the older white man made racial remarks to get them off the hook.

Assistant coach now recants on his confession that he ordered the hit
quote:

In a new statement, Breed writes that he "never told these players to hurt or injure anyone in that football game."

Breed went on to claim that during the bus ride home after the Sept. 4 game between John Jay High School and Marble Falls, he decided to commit to a false statement to protect Rojas and Moreno.

"I did that hoping the kids would still be able to play and not get expelled from school," Breed wrote. "Now that I have seen the video and see how they hit the referee, I can no longer take the blame for the incident," he continued.
