When I was a kid, I used to cry every time Montana & the boys would find a way to beat the Saints in the 80s/90s.

No....and if you do, it's a little weird and I'd say you're a bit too emotionally invested in a game between players you've never met.

I disagree. I think tears over a loss means you are too invested. I've spent years becoming the sports fan I am today. One that lets a loss roll off me, and one that absolutely loved a great win.

When saints won NFC title game, and when the Superdome reopened. That's it(and they were more of a little choke up than real tears). Watching the "fix you" highlight video will also make me squint a few times still, especially the Payton speech at the end. The superbowl was a different animal and was more tense/nerve wracking than emotional.

Not since I was a kid. I thought the Saints Superbowl run might do it but never cried, just got hammered and ran around downtown/the quarter in euphoria. it will be tough to beat that night.

I remember leaving to go to church saints up 35-7. I was in church praising Jesus and rejoicing come out of church we lost by 3. I was mad at god for weeks.

Only winning, and that was when the Saints won the SB, and it was more of a welling-up, as I don't believe an actual tear rolled...

Beating Alabama this year, I was extremely close. That and losing to auburn were the true highs and lows of football.

No. Unless you knew Brian? I will save that thread for the movie board. There had too be some tears back in the bud heavy days.

As an Astros fan, when Pujols launched the bomb off of Brad Lidge I got emotional. Thought it was gonna end up being another way for the Astros to not make the World Series.

I shed a few tears when Alabama won the championship in 2009. It was my senior year and I was sitting in the student section in the Rose Bowl. After living through the Dubose, Fran, and Shula years, I was beginning to think we would never make it back to the top. I didn't full on cry, but I would be lying if I said I didn't shed a few tears of joy.

My father and I were rolling around on the floor and never even saw Tracy porter cross the goal line. Teary eyed for sure.

Had that "holy shite is this actually happening" moment when the Saints won the NFCCG and when Porter intercepted Manning in the SB. Didnt cry though.

I also shed a few tears at the first Bama home game in 2011. Was the first game since the tornado earlier that year.

I also shed a few tears when THIS happened before the 2008 Iron Bowl. If you don't know why, look up what happened to Siran Stacy.

Saints NFCCG got the tears rolling for sure

I've been really emotional a lot of times, but that was the only full blown cry I've endured over the result of a game.
