Auburn 2010 National Championship. And a personal athletic achievement but it doesn't seem like this is the thread for that

Yes. I'm an emotional person, so I cried at the end if my last high school football game. I also cried when the Red Sox won it after my dad said he never thought he'd live to see it and cried too.

Rockets comeback against the Clippers in Game 6. Total euphoria. Tears were rolling.

Once I had started to accept the season could be over, I just got so emotional watching the boys fight back.

I cried like a baby in 1983 when the Rams beat the Saints on the Lansford FG on the final play of the season. The Saints missed their first playoff berth and after a couple of other games ended the Rams made the playoffs.

I was 13 and I thought after that day they were cursed and would never make the playoffs.

I almost cried about 3 times during the 2009 season but I didn't. Every time I see Tracy Porter's pick six I get emotional but I don't cry.

I shed tears as a seven year old in 1979 when the Saints lost to the Raiders on a Monday night game after leading 35-14 at the half that all but cost the Saints their first Playoff appearance ever. Also, in 1980 when the Saints appeared to beat the Dolphins on a last second Archie to Ike Harris TD only to have it called back by a bogus Offensive PI call. It was so bad that Archie slammed his helmet down at the ref and pads flew everywhere. I cried because my best friends older brother was a Dolphins fan and I knew he was going to give me immortal hell. My Mom found me outside sitting on the lawn mower sobbing, so she went in and called his mom and he said he wouldn't say anything about it.

As a lifetime saints and LSU fan I will tell you the only time someone cut the onions near me was after the saints won the super bowl. The natty in 2003 for LSU was a chest pumper and the Warren Morris walk off was great too.

same here...

with LSU, you could see we were on the rise before the NC, so when we won it wasn't like we all expected it, per se, but it wasn't as sublime as when the Saints won it....

for all the fans and organization have endured since their inception, for them to be crowned champs EVER was a very emotional event.... i stood in amazement, overcome by happy, relived emotions...

watching- got a few happy tears when gleason blocked that punt the night the dome re-opened. the way tirico said "touchdown...NEW ORLEANS"

had an onion incident when ridley scored the go ahead touchdown against bama in 2010. last words i told my grandpa were "we'll get 'em next year" after the way the 2009 game ended with the peterson intercep- er..incomplete pass. he passed away a few weeks after the 09 game.

was pretty sad when my favorite soccer team got relegated (both times FFS) but didn't cry though i felt like shite

as a player i missed my whole senior year with an injury, our hoops team did their best and needed to win the last district game to make the playoffs but lost by about 7 points. our top 6 players were seniors so there wasn't a dry eye in the locker room or on the bus ride home.

also cried when i was in peewee and the pitching machine launched one right in my nads

Bandwagon fans will never understand how that feels. Seeing your team go from being terrible to winning it all makes things that much more special. Already supporting a team that's good from the start is not the same.

You hit it on the head about the saints. Our best years before Peyton got here were with Bobby Hebert and the who dat years but seems like we under performed those years. Expectations gave us hope. We were die hard fans even in the rough years. Great fans that finally GOT PAID.

I shed a single year when the saints made the superbowl and then won the superbowl.

It was the two of the top five days of my life.

It's hard to explain when a team like the Saints is so bad and let's you down so long and to finally make it to the top and be able to watch it.....

It was a great year

I don't care if you guys want to give me shite. Watching 82 games during the year causes me to get pretty damn attached. I know some of you guys just turn on the NBA for the playoffs, but when the whole season comes down to one epic quarter, it's awesome. It's the reason I love sports.

yep

Mavs 2011 title

I used to get made fun of in the 90s for them being my team w/how awful they were so it was glorious to see them finally reach the top of the mountain.

Also fricking loved seeing Dirk finally get the respect he deserved from the media at large.

It wasn't that long ago that idiots like Jamal Mashburn would be on TV saying he was nothing more than a 7 foot 3 point specialist while ESPN's ever revolving door of mannequin anchors would nod their heads in agreement.
