Dude dropped 27/12/5 in the Rockets series and you're putting the blame on him? Never mind the fact that they'd have to go through one of the best teams in NBA history to get to the finals. You must have ridiculously high standards if that's the least you expect of him.

Where was he when HOU was coming back from down almost 20 pts in his own building in a close out game? Those stats are great but if he didn't get it done when it mattered most he's gotta be dinged for that. Fwiw I think he's easily top 10.

There just aren't that many great players, of course he's top 10.

Yeah, I think your take is pretty good on this. I don't think anyone thinks Blake Griffin is top 3-5, which would be too high. Top 10 is accurate. He carried the Clips that one season Paul got injured. And just because you're top 10, it doesn't mean you should have made the conference finals. Chris Paul has definitely been top 10 with 0 conference finals.

Agreed, surpassed Paul as best player on that team last season.

Top 10

Curry
Lebron
Harden
Durant
Westbrook
Davis
George
Griffin
Cousins
Paul

Is Leonard now 10 over Paul or Cousins?

conference finals. He's a great player, easily top 10 but is a little bit soft IMO.

Fair analysis, unlike the OP who sees sports center highlights and passes it off for nba knowledge.

To say all he does is dunk shows you haven't watched him since college if ever

I'd put Leonard in between Davis and George on your list

If he was that great he could at least carry the Clippers to the finals. He can't even begin to think about doing that. He melts when the pressure begins to mount. Overrated as frick

Chris Paul, imo, doesn't let Blake play up to his full potential.

Tbf Blake looks like the best player in the league when CP3 gets hurt.

Had monster numbers a year or two ago when Chris was out for a month or two then you have his performance in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

I know that's the go to reason, but you can do that any time there's an injury to a superstar, the one star's numbers goes up.

Westbrook looked out of this world when KD was out. He wasn't any better or being held back by KD, he just got more touches.

Griffin would put up bigger numbers without Paul, no question. But that doesn't mean he's better off or being held back.

Yep. Stat compiler. Advanced Metrics love him. But can't get it done when it matters. Never has even going back to his college days.

If we're going based on this season George and Leonard should probably be in your top 5. Harden... probably not
