re: Cavs have won 17 straight playoff games against the East - imraged
It's fair to question the level of competition but they're dominating at a historic level by average MOV this year at +14.4 No one should be writing them off against the Warriors at this point and they would be favored against the Thunder (and Spurs had they made it to this far)....

re: WCF Game 2: Thunder vs. Warriors (TNT) - imraged
Anyone keep stats on pounding the ball?
stats.nba.com has all sorts of player tracking stats. Harden's 6.3 MPG of possession per game was 13th in the league in the regular season. He was fairly low in average seconds per touch at 4.43 sec per touch compared to guys like Reggi...

re: NBA With a Hard Cap, No Max Salaries, and No Draft - imraged
There's a sizable difference in max salaries as it is. Durant would leave ~$30M guaranteed on the table if he left the Thunder this year. That number would balloon to over $50M if he defers his free agency to next offseason. That's a huge deal for guys around that age when you never really know when...

re: Mike D'Antoni is the front-runner for the Houston Rockets head coaching job - imraged
His reputation for having bad defenses is overblown. The only good defenders he's had to work with over the course of his career were Shawn Marion and Tyson Chandler. There isn't a coach in the league who could get above average defensive results with most of those teams....

re: How many Finals appearances would LeBron have if he played in the West - imraged
Maybe not. They sure as hell wouldn't have without LeBron; probably wouldn't have even been in the Finals. It was a huge shot indeed but let's not blow it out of proportion. LeBron almost single-handedly went on a run to bring them back from down 12 in that fourth quarter....

re: Anime Fans - Recommendations in OP **Awesomeness Edition** - imraged
It's great. I actually read up to the most recent chapter of the manga over the past several days. My only complaint is that there are so many characters some of the seemingly more interesting ones don't get enough screen time....

re: JC OT Charles Baldwin dismissed from Bama team - imraged
Ever hear of Isaac Luatua? Wouldn't think so but the guy was a 5th year senior this past season and never played a single meaningful down his entire "career." If you buy into the program you'll have a spot otherwise you're going to get kicked to the curb. That should go without saying....

re: The Herd: LeBron Most "Valuable" Player...numbers don't lie - imraged
He's one of the best PG defenders in the league but just like basically every PG in league history he doesn't have elite impact on his team's defense compared to bigger guys who are able to more consistently affect the opposing offense....

re: Steph Curry is officially the league's first unanimous MVP - imraged
Hard to believe that Jordan never got one. Thought for sure LeBron would've gotten it in '13 but some asswipe had to vote for Carmelo of all people. Shaq getting screwed out of his was absurd as well....
Take Curry away from the Warrios and they are still dominant.
They're 6-3 without him regular and post-season combined with an average MOV of around +4. Pretty much on par with the Raptors....

re: The Herd: LeBron Most "Valuable" Player...numbers don't lie - imraged
Defense isn't just about one on one matchups. Lillard gets lost on rotations as much as any starting PG in the league and gets abused any time he has to switch onto a great offensive player. Curry isn't the best on-ball defender but he's really smart overall on that end and knows where to be. He ...
