Holy shite...."The Rock" started out with that group? shite I might have to go to some YouTube videos.

Yeah his documentary is on Netflix, they pretty much say that group was created to lift up Farooq (the leader) but when the Rock got the mic he was just too entertaining and would end up being his big push.

As for the attitude era as a whole, yeah a lot of the stuff would never make it past the edit rooms today.

The King called Goldust a flaming fig
DX said one group called the Rock's black group the 'N' word to get them pissed.
Jokes about the disabled.
Women that were more than 90% naked at times
At least one head would be pouring out blood by the end of the night.

etc. etc. It's a wonder my mom didn't want me watching it.

The Sable and Jaquelyn bikini contest comes to mind. Jackie slid her top to the and showed her nipple but Sable won by just having on pasties.

I started watching wrestling around 1988 with the WWF, NWA, WCW, and another that used to come on after I got off from school which always had the Von Erichs on there and from 88-98 was the best era ever

Yeah I can't post it on here without getting in trouble but I think of Torrie Wilson as well. That was post attitude but pre pg. I remember one particular case when she won a bikini contest.. and then stripped down further into something that covered only what would've had to be censored. That's it. And we can't forget the ole Bra and Panties matches.

That looks like Boris Zhukov on the left. I saw him in a Shreveport airport checking in his baggage - one item was a long tube. I asked him if it was his Russian flag, and he nodded affirmatively.

And as Jessie the Body said when Ravishing Rick won the WWF title: "Finally, we have a WWF champion that the kids can look up to."

Nothing like going to the Monroe Civic Center in 85 or 86 and seeing Junkyard dog, Dick Murdoch, Superfly Snuka, Jake the Snake Roberts, big Cat Ernie Ladd, Don Diamond....... I think it cost like $4 to get in or something

GOAT tag team= the bushwackers.

Did everybody know that the Godfather also used to be Papa Shango?

I was just thinking about the Tuesday night in Texas a little bit earlier today. It followed wrestlemania 7 or 8. It was a PPV special.
