If UNC beats Clemson, UNC should be in the playoff.

Hell, I think a 12-1 Clemson would still be more deserving than an 11-1 OSU, but you're not going to put Clemson in ahead of UNC, so UNC should go.

No way. They have two losses, one to Northwestern.

They have two top 15 losses. They went across the country and played a 10-2 #15 team. That's what the playoffs were trying to create. The Pac 12 is a good conference. The ACC is very bad.

Northwestern is ranked #13 fricknut

Meanwhile, UNC was enjoying a win against an FCS.

You reward that shite over goin on the road against a top team, then schedules will turn into cupcake city because you get no incentive for trying to play good teams.

Ohio State really should be in because they have the same amount of losses and are defending champs with the most talented team in the nation. The only reason you wouldn't want them in is because you would rather not have to beat the best to hoist the trophy

No. They would only have 10 wins. Wins against D-II schools shouldn't count.

Selection committee chair Jeff Long said previously that the Tar Heels' season-opening loss to South Carolina, which finished 3-9, and a nonconference schedule that includes two FCS teams hurts North Carolina's standing with the committee.

LOL so of their 4 OOC games, one they lost to a 3-9 team, and 2 others were FCS schools? Yeah gtfo.

What is Clemson and Bama both lose?

UNC might beat Clemson but bringing Alabama into this is just crazy.

Depends which P5 conference and which champion we're talking about. I don't think UNC should get in, no matter what happens next week.

Then UNC is in the #3 spot and Clemson gets the #4 spot.

Basically if Bama losses Clemson is in no matter what.

I think Clemson should go win or lose

UNC can get fricked with their scheduling.

Yes they would be a 1 loss P5 champion. I think the only P5 left out will be the PAC12 unless UF finds its offense from the 1990s in the next 6 days.

Clemson has the distinction of being Clemson.

"Oh look they Clemsoned"

They would probably drop to #8 or worse.

I'm guessing the fact that you're an Ohio State fan has nothing to do with that.

It has nothing to do with it. UNC losing to 3-9 South Carolina and scheduling two FCS teams has everything to do with it. They're sitting behind Stanford and Florida too, depending on Saturday. They won't get in.

true

but my point is that Clemson has to play a conference championship game which could potentially frick them over.

if they were 12-0, in the Big 12, they are sitting at home resting their players.
