I saw the Braves didn't appreciate it last night
This was also after 7 Braves had been hit by Toronto pitchers since the start of Monday's game, the most recent being Freddie Freeman who had to leave with a wrist injury. Then the Braves hit a Blue Jay player, then an inning or two later the bat flip happened (with Toronto down 4). Just a little context.

The douchey stare after hitting the HR is what pisses people off not the bat flip. Manny Ramirez pimped his HRs too but he never showed up the pitcher. He just dropped his bat, stood still at home plate for a few seconds to admire the shot, and then trotted around the bases. That's how you celebrate a home run.

Also I don't really think the Braves were that mad. It looked like Peterson and Suzuki were mainly telling Bautista that he was being an idiot and then the home plate umpire jumped in like WWIII was about to start and that escalated the whole situation. The Blue Jays are just pissed they're getting their arse whipped by a crappy team and they are acting like the bitches they are.

Yep, looks like the Ump just wanted to get involved for the sake of it.

Freeman might be out for the rest of the year and shite is gonna be crazy tonight. I'm expecting a fight to go down now.

Good point. Manny didn't throw his bat halfway up the first base line either

Gotta love baseball fights. Huge scrum with nothing happening.

Baseball fights used to be as good as it gets when it came to sports brawls.

Pretty sure Teheran is the only veteran on the field tonight.
Unless chipper, Byrd and Jordan rush the field.

Crap like that makes the game more interesting. Although I think Bautista is a dick.

They don't make them like Kyle Farnsworth anymore.

We should contract this out to former players. Put Freeman, Bonifacio, and a couple of other worthless pieces of crap on the DL (I'm looking at you Collmenter) and sign guys like Rocker, The Big Cat, Uggla, etc to come in a start a brawl. Then when they all get suspended just cut their asses.

That father and son bum rushing the Royals first base coach a while back was one of the realist things I've seen on a sports field
