Mississippi State's schedule is way harder than FSU's.

I wonder if the Noles will start getting shite for barely beating a Kansas-level Oklahoma State team at the beginning of the year.

They probably should to be honest. Bama is still living off its national championship and SEC reputation. Not saying Bama wouldn't beat Oregon, but I thing the Ducks have the best argument for #1 right now.

State lost to Bama. 1-loss Bama. In Tuscaloosa.

Being undefeated is good and all, but is still a shite schedule.

Give me a tested one-loss team over an undefeated with a shite schedule all day.

Use your brain.

I think the Pac 12 is secretly not that good, but that's just me.

Of course, that is just a product of the fact that college football in general isn't that good this year. None of these teams are close to being great or elite, IMO.

Arizona State is literally just pretty good, and they're ranked 6th in the country.

Utah and UCLA are meh. Arizona is going to lose to all of these teams, and they beat Oregon on the road.

Hardly any teams look consistently good from week to week. It makes it hard to read and honestly kind of annoying.

Ducks are a better team now than early in the year due to having an O-line come back.

But I don't know how good they are. Still same old issues.

FSU is doing what it has to do.

You can't assume one team from one conference is better with lowly Arkansas beating LSU and almost beating Bama...if that happened in the Pac-12...it would be like Cal or Colorado beating Oregon last year and Oregon would massively drop because of it.

Miss st ain't been tested. They actually lost the 1 game where they were tested. Sorry I'm not crowning them for beating Barn and A&M

The committee obviously is.

You know, considering they had one-loss Oregon over FSU this week.

Baylor beat OU so bad last weekend that it dropped OU out of the T25.

Jeff Long then went on national tv and said we had only beaten 1 ranked team all season, TCU.

Mind was blown when he said that but I understand their point of view. Teams like MState shouldn't get credit for beating a T10 A&M team that had no business being T10.

I know. I really think that on any given day this year, if FS was in the SEC, only Vanderbilt wouldn't beat them. That is how weak FS really is!

But you're crowning FSU for beating who exactly?

FSU last year was a different team. They would smoke most teams this year.

ETA: Who honestly thought Auburn was a clearly better team? This year you have no clear cut #1 team.

Well, Auburn was a 3-loss team masquerading as a 1-loss team.

And it's a silly comparison anyway, considering FSU was a lot better last year than they are this year.

The best part is A&M got that big poll jump early in the season for smashing SC out of all fricking teams.

FSU destroyed basically everyone on their schedule last season. To compare this current FSU squad to last year's team seems laughable.

Exactly. Auburn was lucky as hell last year. They had no shot going into that game.
