it would make sense for MSU to stay at 1 with Bama 2 and Oregon 3 with FSU or TCU 4.

Miss State isn't staying at #1, but they won't exit the top 4.

think theyll be #3.

1. Bama
2. FSU
3. MSU
4. Oregon

That would be penalizing Oregon a lot for not playing, but when you consider that Oregon should have never jumped FSU in the first place, I'd be okay with it.

That was a pretty good win for FSU tonight, so they should definitely jump back over Oregon, IMO, assuming the margin between the two was very small to begin with.

I'd have State 2nd, but that's just me. They played like shite and lost by 5.

But I can understand the committee putting them 3rd. I agree with your 4 exactly.

Three top 10 teams.

If you're gonna play that card, then who has anyone really beaten?

Long said on the radio that the difference between FSU and Oregon last week was "slight" and it was the longest debate between two teams the committee has had

Three top 10 teams at the time they played.

If you aren't gonna give State their credit, then tell me, who does have a quality win this year?

Just Baylor and Ohio State?

This argument needs to be consistent. It should be based on where teams end. They shouldn't get a resume boost for beating A&M and LSU IMO. Both are garbage.

You can joke bro but auburn was the cream of the crop in the west and just lost (lost is wrong, they got destroyed) to uga.... That discounts every win in the west

For LSU and aTm, it certainly depends on when you caught them during the season.

Which is why current ranking is usually a decent indicator. Of course, it is still flawed.

State has played at the very least a pretty hard schedule this year, and cruised through it. What else do you want them to do?

Committee doesn't care what the teams where ranked when they played. They only care about what they are currently ranked.

Well then, State should still be ranked ahead of TCU.

Not a big LSU fan, but I still think LSU would still beat FS this year
