Mavs fans should be pissed. Barnes is the most horribly overpaid player in the NBA.

No, Harrison Barnes was buried on the bench because Harrison Barnes is a fringe NBA player on a team of All Stars.

Some good back-and-forth going on the Duke and UNC Scout forums.

Maybe he buried his arse because he didn't want us to lose to Spain- if Barnes shot at even close to Replacement Value he would have 2 rings since he was basically left uncovered outside of 15 feet in the last 4 games of the NBA Finals.

Not sure why he was even on the team

He showed up for practice. a lot of guys were injured who might have taken a roster spot. IF curry were 100%, he would have been on the squad and the whole make up of the team would have been adjusted.

I am betting Devin's 3 point percentage is a hell lot better then Barnes. But what do I know...The GOAT said Brooker is a future star in the leagueLINK /

I want someone to name one player with a worse resume than Barnes who played for an Olympic team since 1992.

It's impossible.

You would be someone who doesn't follow NBA closely.

Booker .423/.343 3PT
Barnes .446/.376 3PT

Barnes 3 point % has NEVER been as bad as Booker's was this year any year of his career.

Booker had a nice year for a rookie but to hint that he should've made the Team over Barnes is a joke. And I have never been A barnes guy and dogged him all year long. Booker wasn't even playing until the guys ahead of him got hurt and at that point he was the only player who could score the ball left on the team so of course he got tons of opportunity.

FYI Bookers PER was 11.9 by the definition of PER that is "Scrounging for minutes"

Nothing because Abdur Rahim is a much better player than Barnes. He's a power forward with significantly better stats at everything besides three point shooting, a minuscule part of Abdur Rahim's game.

He got buried because he's atrocious and has been playing awful.

Draymond Green didn't play much either for the same reason.

I guess coach K hates MSU too...

If anyone should have been on the team to shoot that would have been JJ Redick, a Duke guy.

Devin Booker isn't in the top 30 guys that should have been selected.

Better question: Is Harrison Barnes getting a championship ring from the Cleveland Cavaliers?

If he had played even average basketball, then the Warriors win despite the injuries and nut-punching suspension.

I believe Barnes was literally the last guy on the 24 man roster after Hayward and Beal turned them down. I'm sure they wanted go outside the roster for the last few spots but they've always favored guys in the program.

In four years, will everyone say that Pop left Barnes off the team because he favored his own player (K. Leonard) over a player from a division rival? I'm guessing that Harrison Barnes will never be an Olympic caliber player again in his career.
