Recently watched the Catching Hell 30 for 30. Bartman and Buckner got royally screwed by fans and media.

Bartman especially...people seem to forget that the next batter i believe hit into a taylor made double play that was booted

poor Bartman

Was it a local radio station that gave out his home address?

Curse of the Bambino: Game 6

Nothing better illustrates the endless frustration of Red Sox fans (prior to 2004) than this clip.

The Seahawks throwing the ball at the goal line was the right call.

Edit: I'm saying that people say it was the wrong call. I'm saying right call.

You run Marshawn Lynch, arguably the best back in the league, especially when you need 2 yards. You have a truck that is rolling in your backfield and you fricking throw it.

Terrible call.

ETA:

I understand why the pass would be called if you didn't have Marshawn Lynch back there. He would've gotten it in one try the way he was running.

If not, timeout and throw the ball. If that doesn't work, run Marshawn fricking Lynch again.

Carlton Fisk's home run is so overrated. All it did was force a Game 7 which the Red Sox lost.

I'll actually go even further. Even if Bill Buckner fields the ball cleanly he doesn't beat Mookie Wilson to first base and the Mets win anyways

Nelson Cruz in 2011 was a far bigger choke than Buckner.

Cruz makes the catch on a ball a MLB right fielder should catch, and the Rangers win the series.

It's only remembered because of him trying to will it fair. Most people would recognize that video, but they probably couldn't tell you in what game it happened.

Don't know how ' common' but I've heard it enough how MJ carried UNC to a title

James Worthy was option 1 , ACC Tournament MVP, every NCAA regional MVP, Final Four MVP. & went 29/5 in the Finals with the game winning steal.

Worthy's steal of the errant Fred Brown pass sealed the game & is up there with Chris Webers " timeout" in NCAA tournament history. It was THE story of the game.

A third option Freshman nailing the go ahead bucket is mostly spoken about now.

Some young people barely know Worthy played in that game & sealed it with the legendary steal.

That the Boise st/Oklahoma BCS fiesta bowl was an incredible game. It wasn't. It was a great late 4th qtr/OT game, but the game as a whole was boring until the end of the game.

I just watched the gif of the play like 20 times. The play was there if Wilson did not toss pass that was going to get receiver killed. Lockette Alligator armed that pretty bad too

Sammy Sosa at one point had the record for most home runs in a season. Later that night McGwire hit 3.

Dyson 1yd short is sometimes perceived as a would-be game winner, but thanks to an earlier Del Greco extra point shank, the near touchdown would've just sent the game to overtime.

An even better one related to the Miracle on Ice was it wasn't the semifinals, either.

Mike Tyson gets credited with the quote "everyone has a plan 'til they get hit"

It must originally be a quote from an older fighter (Louis, Dempsey or someone) because I use to hear my dad say that long before Tyson began boxing.

Not to mention Oklahoma was the perfect draw for Boise St that year. I don't think they beat any of the other BCS teams.

It was round-robin. Hence why the Soviets won the silver.
