You've been asked maybe 3 times now, still haven't given a single good reason why they should change.

Weird, right?

Its almost as comical as realizing that there are people who dont get that people who immigrate to other countries and cultures should try and adapt. Why do these latin players even bother to learn english if they should just be themselves.

Yea, you "may be."

Is this real life? I don't recall ever seeing this poster before, am I just getting duped by one of the usual trolls?

and as I said, I can link several bean balls that went bad but you will find it harder to find a pitcher admitting he was throwing at the player. You seem to fail to understand that aspect of the argument.

Its not hard to tell if the situation was set up by the unwritten rules. You are just being obtuse now. You are starting the ad hom route. Everyone in the park and media knows when this is the case. Link me to one bean ball that happened with even a hint of possible intent to hit because of the "rules"

It really isn't but based on your opinion I can link several bean balls that happened after a player hit a home run, was plunked, etc and you would attempt to argue against.

Price hitting Ortiz
O's hitting Bautista
Royals throwing at Lawrie
Padres/Braves beanball game

I mean hell in all honesty they have tons of "on purpose" pitches each year. After home runs, after stare downs, after finger pointing, the fact you are being "obtuse" about that is funny imo.

"Dumb"

"not intellectual"

"not bright"

"bitch"

Honest to God question, are you older than 15? Funny that I'm the butthurt one that is not intellectual, but you're the one who can't form a thought on this, answer a question, and basically just reply with name calling. Weird, right?

You just typed out this:

and you are dropping age digs on someone else.

I get teduceen doesnt like me but at least we had a semblance of a conversation. You like to throw darts and then point and cry at the darts thrown back at you. Thats being a bitch and ironic given the topic at hand.

It's not like the game never had showboaters in it.

Rickey Henderson popped his collar or something to that effect after homering. Ozzie Smith did fricking back flips on the field. I'm sure there's MANY more examples that could be mentioned.

The problem here is that the breaking of the "unwritten rules" is more of a story than the any showboats. Or players who bitch and complain about the show boating get more attention than the player actually accomplishing something.

I agree with Harper. Every competitive sport nerds a "bad guy" or two.

That Rangers/Blue Jays playoff game last year was one of the most entertaining game I've seen in a while. There needs to be more of that. Props to Bautista.

Again, says the guy only name calling and answering the question of why they should adapt with, "Are you saying they shouldn't learn English."

quote:

You like to throw darts
AGAIN, says the guy doing all the name calling

quote:

Thats being a bitch
And again.

Gonna chalk it up to one of our resident posters that duped me and i just had no clue who you were, well played, you got me!!!

If I get beaned after hitting a homerun, I'm going Marichal-Roseboro on someone.

If we get to the point that Ozzie started doing backflips for a single at the top of the 2nd with nobody on, I'd have a problem with it. Home runs, big rbi's, etc warrant some celebrating, but kill me if an outfielder has to 'dab' for a routine fly ball. One of the aggravating things about the NFL to me is that it seems every defensive player has to do some sort of a celebration for getting a tackle - it used to be just for big sacks, interceptions, etc., but now they get up and celebrate after a gain of 2. Offensive players celebrate after every first down now. It's annoying.
