Good deal for the Braves. LULZ @ BJ being a superstar. Top 5 OFer D wise. His hitting: L.O.L.

Am I the only one who would rather have Prado?

Had a feeling AZ would want a major league ready guy in return considering the uncertainty of those prospects

Still a great deal for ATL. Arizona is stupid

Would you have enjoyed watching him sign with another team at the end of this season?

I was disappointed at first. It's a great trade though.

I firmly believe that at a minimum, we come out equal this season with respect to overall production out of 3B/LF.

That doesn't include the benefit of having Jupton for 2 more seasons.

Even their own fans admit they are dumb. Mainly because Prado is their main get and if they want to sign him long term it will cost them 11-12 million

Click on the link to the Diamondbacks message board I linked at the top of this page. Check out what they think of the deal.

Two Uptons means what? They're good players who should def help you guys. BJ was frustrating to watch in St. Pete. I hope he find puts it all together. Would burn a trailer park if ATL got Price in a year or two. Rays should lock him up like Longo but they won't.

Yeah you did. Freeman was a bit off because he's the future at 1b and so young.. but you somewhat had the right line of thinking there. Not bad.

Dont think he was referring to BJ being a superstar, think he meant J Upton

Mr. still living on "upside/potential" and not producing like the 5 tool he was supposed to be and Mr. Chris fricking Johnson.

You guys are excited over Chris Johnson. Have fun with Mr. LOB. Seems like this clown was up every single time there were 2 men on base. He'd either leave them on or hit into a double play. I seriously changed the channel when this guy came to bat.

Anyhow, Not sure why the immense excitement in this thread. I think the deal is about as even as it gets.
