I don't know how I feel right now. I loved Prado. Wasn't a power guy, but he was ALWAYS on base, and he was extremely versatile. Chris Johnson will have some incredibly huge shoes to fill

because the super outfield will be intact for at least 3 years

we replace a probably outgoing prado with a similar player

We weren't going to be able to re-sign Prado after this season, so locking up Justin Upton for a few years is a great move. Johnson hits for a decent average too.

The entire outfield is set for several years with all three 30/30 guys and all under 28.

Didn't lose Teheran (who I still love his upside)
Still have Gattis.

I am extremely happy with the acquisition of Justin, but I am still wondering why we moved Prado last minute. If they had hinted that Prado may be a piece, I would have had time to digest that. Prado has been one of our more consistant hitters on the team. Now we have a bunch of guys with power, but who strike out alot too. This Braves team is shaping up to be an extreme roller coaster. some high scoring games, and some head scratchers. (I guess it's really no different from years past lol)

exactly. They had very simlar numbers last year except 17 bombs for Upton and only 10 Prado...but Prado hit 21 points higher. Very similar.

But you lose Randall Delgado and other prospects (I know nothing about the other 2) and only gain Chris Johnson. Don't see anything to really be ecstatic about, but then again I am not a Braves fan.
