re: honda foreman carb trouble - snake2985
This is a pic of the valve seat. There is no oring and the seat is not removable. I did buff the seat last night and it appears that the leak has slowed. I will try to fine tune it a bit more tonight to get it to make...

honda foreman carb trouble - snake2985
I have a 2005 honda foreman 500 that will continually drip/leak gas from the carburetor overflow. I have taken it apart, cleaned all the jets, replaced the float and the needle valve, and it still leaks gas. I am at my wits end. Any suggestions....

re: Small Cattle Operation Advice - snake2985
The plan, at least so far, is to have about 15 calves, get them around 500 lbs, rotate them on the fields, and sell them about 800 lbs. Repeat. Is this even feasible. The BIL says this is the way to go. I am clueless. It is not too late for me to back out. ...

Small Cattle Operation Advice - snake2985
So tell me what you know about a small (30 acres on two 15 acre sites) cattle operation. My BIL has secured the property, it has good grass and water on it, and is only 5 minutes from the house. I have ZERO experience with cows. He is looking to kill some free time with this and try an make a buck o...

re: Any of you boys dealt with stained concrete? - snake2985
I have done it on the last two houses I built as a cheap way to get a floor covering. I mixed cola and black and it came out great. The key comes in the sealer. The more coats you put, the better the result. And I think the major plus is the ability to cover it up easily. I decided I wanted wood flo...

Shiner Prickly Pear - snake2985
So I know I am a little late to the game, but I picked up a 6 pack of Shiner Family Reunion and one of the beers I really enjoyed was the Prickly Pear. After a bit of research I see it was brewed only last year and is only available in the Reunion 6 packs. The question I have, does anyone know if th...

I just did the shower in my bathroom and just freehanded it. Used a level to make sure I had a good slope. I did use a kit the first time I did a shower. Good luck, as others have said, take your time. You can save a good bit of money and be proud of your work if it comes out good. ...
