Not sure if serious

Are you suggesting that after the medical staff clears a kid, the coaching staff has to put him back in?

No. I'm just saying the medical staff should have told the coaching staff he is OUT for the rest of the game. They have the power to not clear a player. If they do clear a player, why shouldn't the coaching staff trust the medical professionals?

It takes the NFL 15 minutes to figure out if someone has a concussion, but the UM team docs can do it in a play. Got it.

Also, they didnt evaluate him for a concussion. They checked his ankle.

Make no mistake. Your (and the linked blog) are expressing faux outrage in an attempt to justify getting rid of Hoke now. This isn't about the player.

They should have, but that doesn't absolve the coaching staff from putting a kid who cant walk straight back in the game.

The medical staff should have told brady he was out. That part is true but that shouldn't stop michigan from firing him with cause. I understand the president hasn't been on the job long but now is the time to show he is competent and clear house of incompetent people such as hoake and the ad.

Someone should have seen him stumbling around. I don't know if the medical staff stands there and watches the game. They could have been attending to someone else at the time. Who knows?

But Hoke putting him back in the game is absurd. No way around it.

Also, if the QB passed whatever tests they gave him, they need new tests.

I dont really care if there is cause or not. I was cool with firing him after the season, but now I see no reason not to do it ASAP. The team has clearly quit on him. Let Nuss take his first swing at the big seat.

You didn't watch the game did you?

Regardless whether or not he was concussed, he was already hurt. And not only was he already hurt, even before that, he was just flat out terrible. He should have been pulled well way before any of this was an issue.

All of this.

I wonder if Michigan failed to put in a for cause clause. I don't see how they wouldn't have this covered because it opens them to a potential lawsuit by playing a clearly concussed player. Either way 2 million should be chump change for a program like michigan.

I feel like that scene of Bellomy trying to find his helmet (and trying on two that aren't his) perfectly encapsulates Michigan football of late. No direction, caught offguard, generally just clueless, and almost to the point of being comical.

MSU and OSU gif-makers could have a field day.

AS someone who has coached football before, I don't care what the training staff tells me, if I wasn't 110% that a kid was fine, he didn't go in.

If a kid so much as wobbled or looked lost when I looked at him after a big hit, he didn't play the rest of the game. I had a father get mad at me because I benched his kid the rest of the game after a hit. Kid was a QB, got blindsided, when he came talk to me after the hit his eyes kept jumping around and he seemed a little "punch drunk", so I sat him. Told him and the dad that I wouldn't allow him to play until he went to a doctor and got an examination. It's called being smart.

No coach in their right mind would have allowed him anywhere near the field. The whole training staff excuse is a joke. From all reports they just checked his ankle, nothing about testing him for a concussion.

Plain and simple, a player looks like he just got punched by Mike Tyson, he doesn't play.

Alright just watched the video, def overreacting. He was hobbling around before the hit and was hobbling around after it. There was little discernible difference.

Once they brought him off though there really was no reason to put him back out there for a number of reasons, but all the dumb comments about "the whole stadium knew he had a concussion" are after the fact melodrama.

Though if I were a Michigan fan I'd be saying the same thing if it sped up the process of getting him fired faster.

You're right, this is clearly just his ankle

Also, notice 2 players signal to the bench he needs help, and yet nobody came out

Just like the people who have been to games and seen an injury and people say things like "I thought he was dead for real". After the fact melodrama.

Except for when Morris went in, the crowd erupted with people screaming "you cant put him back in, he has a concussion!"

He didn't see the QB concussed and he never heard the crowd chanting "Fire Brady," according to what he said in his presser. Does he have his head that far up his arse?
