They only went 6-0 in the first round. Durr.. this thread is retarded.

Mizzou, OU, and Kansas beat shite teams. Texas beat a shitty Big Ten team, A&M beat a shite team, and then got completely fricking destroyed in the 2nd round. Oklahoma State beat a shitty SEC team. Let's wait and see what they do against the ACC and Big East.

Oh yea, LSU got the same seed as BYU.

It's painfully obvious you just started watching basketball on Thursday. A&M beat LSU. Oklahoma State beat the 2nd best team in the SEC.

Missouri, Kansas, OU and Texas beat the teams they were matched up against. Like I said.. this thread is retarded.

I like him now. He seems like a great guy too. I still can't wait to see him matched up against a Big East or an ACC team team. Watching him against Syracuse, Arizona State, or UNC will be fun.

Player A averages 19.8 points, 11.4 rebounds, 1.4 blocks, 1.8 steals, shoots 76% from the line, and gets 2 assists per game. He then gets selected fourth in the draft.

Player B averages 22 points, 14 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, 1.2 steals, 2 assists per game. He shoots 58% from the line. He will also be a top 5 pick. He is a very good player, but you have to realize that 20/10 guys like Malone and Duncan are very rare.

At least try to be creative. Something like "I wish Angel Matos had worn golf cleats and kicked your mom in the stomach while she was pregnant" would have at least had some novelty.

He is a very good rebounder and has some nice post-up moves, but he is a dismal foul shooter and has very mediocre range. He doesn't have elite defensive skills and he doesn't block enough shots.

Shaq???

at thinking Griffin is soft.

Well Shaq does have about 4 inches and 100 pounds on Griffin

He's certainly not soft though.

He isn't an explosive player.

This by far the dumbest evaluation of a player i've ever seen.

You can say a lot about Griffin but "not explosive" is just flat out retarded. He's one of the best athletes for his size you'll ever see.

I bet you think Ryan Howard needs more pop in his bat,Jamarcus is only lacking a little arm strength, and if Chris Paul was a better passer he could be something.

If you like watching college basketball highlights, watch what Drew Gooden did in college. He is probably more athletic than Griffin

Drew Gooden is more athletic than Blake Griffin??? WOW!!!

Oh, and Griffin's post game in college is MUCH better than Gooden's.

Idk maybe that's not the right choice of words. But he is overrated.

Are you getting him confused with his brother, you know the OTHER mixed guy with Griffin on the back of his jersey? He's number 32 instead of 23.lol I don't know which Griffin you're talkin about but it's not Blake.

I was wondering if he was mixed, or the impression of him was just because he was light skin. I guess white college boys don't like half-white BB players any more than they like all white ones.

I know that white basketball player on Syracuse it one of the best. I'm not going to even spell his last name and don't feel like looking it up. I hope he makes it in the NBA. He'll be one of my favorite players. We need more American White guys like him in the NBA, guys that aren't scared to talk trash and can take it to other street ballers.

always good during tournament or even football bowl season when people watch guys for the first time all season and make dumb statements like this.

You can find clips that make just about any talented player look like an All-NBA superstar or a future Pro Bowler. That's why every year, you have people ready to proclaim Noel Devine or Joe McKnight as the next Barry Sanders. It's the same with basketball. Wasn't Gerald Green supposed to become a perennial All-Star? Take a look at this Rivals Top 5 player that hasn't done a thing in the NBA yet. He certainly looks like a promising player in that clip
Dunk Highlights

And no, I am not comparing Blake Griffin to any of these players. He has done far more at the college level, and that's why I have far greater expectations for him at the pro level. I am just pointing out how a handful of edited clips really don't prove very much.

The Good: An elite rebounder and an emerging offensive force, Griffin plays as hard as anyone and is unstoppable when he gets it going. His combination of size, strength and athleticism is unmatched in college basketball. He is the best player in the country.

The Bad: Not much. Griffin needs to continue to work on his perimeter game and ball-handling skills.

The Upside: Griffin is the consensus No. 1 pick in the draft, and, short of a horrific injury in the tournament, nothing will be able to knock him off that perch. He's as close to a sure thing as there is in the draft, and his performance in the tournament shouldn't have a big impact on his stock one way or the other.

Griffin is very long and athletic; an excellent physique and build He excels at getting up and down the floor very quickly A ridiculous athlete and a monster on the boards and around the rim, currently just smashing on anyone that gets in his way

They know more than you also

Chad Ford, Jonathan Givenroy, and the guys at NBA Draft.net write reviews for 100-150 players a year. 25-30 of them are overwhelmingly positive.

If 25-30 players in any given draft truly lived up to their reviews before they were drafted, that would be hands down the greatest draft in the history of the NBA.

Keep in mind, I still think that Blake Griffin is going to be a very good player in the league, just not at the same level as Al Jefferson, Chris Bosh, or Dwight Howard.
