crying, because you team couldnt check swing pitches for homers? the bats were a joke

your as bad as Softball guy and his bats. Bats that turned 160lb base hitters into mashers, lol

Then crying because teams who you know, pitch, have an advantage, welcome to baseball tart.

I know chicks dig the long ball, but I'm a pitcher/batter matchup guy.

I don't give a shite about the bats being bbcor. I love seeing a great pitching rotation fan the side or create a bunch of pop-ups and infield grounders.

Yes, my son is a pitcher.

Yeah when a 5'5 165 lb guy can check swing an 85 mph pitch out of the yard opposite way... something IS wrong...

that was in no way the case with the bats before the bbcor bats. you must be thinking of the 90s bats.

You mean the UCLA pitcher throwing batting practice fastballs right over the middle of the plate because homeruns in 90% of ballparks barely make it to the warning track is real baseball...riiiiight

The bats are so dead and Omaha is so big, the HR production was akin to your favorite MLB team hit 15 home runs for the year, as a team. That is as false a representation of baseball as the jacked up 90's bats.

I sorta agree but it goes both ways. If a pitcher grooves a ball right down the middle, or hangs a curve, and gets bailed out by a ball falling 10' short of the warning track, something is wrong with that too. The '09-10 bats were the best balance between gorilla ball and puff ball.

BBCOR bats are about the same maybe hust a tad bit hotter than a wood bat but have better durabilty.

I believe the point has been made that the new stadium is the same size as roseblatt, but without the outgoing wind. Once again we have real baseball, where a number 9 hitter isn't crushing 27 home runs a year, plus don't have to hear that horrible peenk sound.

TDA has the exact same dimensions as Rosenblatt did. A HUGE reason there are very few home runs hit in Omaha anymore is not just the bats, which suck, but the fact that they built the new stadium where you are hitting into the wind all the time, the exact opposite of Rosenblatt, where the wind blew out the majority of the time.

No really, 15 home runs a year per MLB TEAM. You think that's "real baseball"?

The wind didn't seem to matter in the HR Derby when they used non BBCOR bats.

I freaking loved that peenk sound, & pretty much every baseball player who played with those bats would agree.

que? the winner had 6 in the 1st round, 8 in the second, and 6 in the final. That's not exactly tearing the cover off the ball in a home run derby

Its pretty much a unanimous opinion outside of baseball teams from California that the new bat is ruining college baseball

College baseball fan from Louisiana. Didn't mind the new bats last season.

The ball was landing in the concession stand. Katz crushed one and it went out by a foot.
