He should be thrown in jail. I hope the felony sticks. That's a sick person to kick and kill a dog.

Yeah, I really liked him when I met him. That fricking sucks, but he has no place on the team, especially as a league average at best starter.

I know you are kidding cause of the rivalry, but the immediate reaction by fans was hyper negative by fans who contacted the Falcons. However, their whole attitude changed when he was cut.

Given that Vick went to prison for killing fighting dogs, what punishment will they give this guy for killing a pet?

I bet he won't get more time than Vick bc Vick was famous.

Vick also ran a dog fighting ring out of his house

That's a little worse of an offense

I remember this guy from Hard Knocks as well. I think he was the guy who learned the playbook early and was portrayed as being well ahead of the curve.

Looking at the article, however, it looks like there could be some debate about this:

quote:

Regardless, inflicting severe head trauma to an animal, and then joking about doing it is about as low as a scumbag move I can think of.

In college, Shembo was evidently involved in:

quote:

During the draft process, Shembo acknowledged being the Notre Dame player under investigation in the 2010 case of a St. Mary's College student who alleged she was inappropriately touched. Lizzy Seeberg, the student at Notre Dame's sister school, killed herself less than two weeks after the alleged incident. Shembo was never charged in the case.

"Pretty much it was an unfortunate event," Shembo said after the Falcons drafted him. "My name was pretty much cleared. It's behind me now. I just want to focus on playing football for the Falcons."

An unfortunate incident? Wow.

He probably had some PTSD from when Eddie Lacy kicked the shite out of him in the 2012 NC game, and took it out on the dog.

Doesn't sound like a vehement denial.

I can hear his agent spinning it to another team:
"In addition to his positional skills, in a pinch Prince has shown himself to be a lethal kicker from short range."

Nice repping here for ND.
