im totally cool with the east sucking.
it's also totally annoying that every game thread and thread about eastern conference basketball all season long is ruined by the western conference circle jerk. everything is always evidence of the east sucking even when the best teams in the east proved throughout the entire year that they were just as good.

The Mavs and Blazers were both just too banged up. I'd agree the versions of them we saw in the playoffs couldn't beat those teams.

kevin love sucks all year long and takes shite for it but then he gets hurt and the cavs are not as good as before?
which is it? did kevin love suck all year or not? i know the answer but the internet culture of forming new conclusions every single day is absolutely awful. the media is not helping whatsoever. a 24 hour news cycle and social media means that we basically have to form these opinions and conclusions all the fricking time. youd have thought the rockets should not have even shown up for game 5 against the clippers if you were on the internet for those few days. same thing with the hawks now, who probably are going to get their asses handed to them, but im surprised they are even making the trip up to cleveland from what im reading.

Seriously. James Jones effectively does what Love was doing by spreading the floor. Love was adding very little. Even when he had good games, it was because he knocked down threes, not dominated the boards or in the post.

Love is a much better passer, rebounder and screener than Jones and he doesn't hurt the team defense.
The stats don't lie. Even if Love doesn't put up great individual numbers his impact on the team is evident.

what? the wizards suck now? they were good last week. in fact, they would be playing the cavs if not for john walls injury, right? hawks wouldnt have had a chance. we know this to be true because they won a really close game 1.

This Warriors squad is easily one of the best teams in the last 15 years. It's pretty amazing to see San Antonio and Golden State have such great teams in consecutive seasons.

No the wizards still suck and the hawks currently suck. They've been pretty shitty (relative to what they were pre ASB) since about 10 or so games left in the season and they haven't gotten any better. They are now down Carroll and Korver. The Hawks that were dominating earlier in the season aren't there anymore. Deal with it.
And yes, although they are in the ECF, their road has been a cakewalk. Brooklyn is fricking abysmal and a Wall-less Wizards team is nothing worth writing home about. You didn't have to beat the Spurs, Grizz, Rockets, Blazers, etc... ATL is a shell of what they were 3 months ago. Deal. With. It.
