Shumpert matches up well with Curry, LBJ on Curry should be last resort. If it comes to that, I don't expect Curry to perform as he has been, it's a total mismatch. Curry weighs like 160lbs. Kyrie Irving is the odd man out in regards to defense and this is why I don't think having Love makes a huge difference because Love isn't that good on defense. Love makes a difference in regards to depth though.

I believe the Warriors are this good but it is worth mentioning that they've been fortunate with seeding and opponent injuries. If not for division winners being guaranteed top 4 seeds they'd have faced a much stronger team in the second round.

There are some Hawks fans that get so upset about it. I haven't been able to wrap my head around it.

Like I would die to have to Grizz in the East.

The Grizzlies had a better record than the Blazers and would've swept them if mike didn't break his face. They also could've been the 2 seed along with the Spurs and Rockets. You have no idea what you're talking about.

The Warriors are really good. Games 1 and 2 could have went either way, but tonight they were "locked in". I wasn't sold on the Warriors, and I honestly thought Memphis would beat them, but I was obviously wrong. The finals this year, should be a great series.

Defensive efficiency huh? How'd Houston's defense rate this year? I think the West is overrated this year and think the Cavs have a chance to beat GS. I think they'd have murdered the Rockets.

Top 5. Then Beverly got hurt.

Dude the Spurs were the damn 6 seed. A bunch of teams just got hit with injuries.

First, of course the Cavs have a chance to beat GS. Anyone who thinks it's gonna be a blowout doesn't watch the NBA

Second, the West is overrated?

Warriors, Rockets, Clips, Griz, Spurs would all be in the conference finals if they were in the east this year

I'm saying that the standings being as close as they were caused some oddities in the seeding. Rockets/Clippers won 56 games. Grizzlies/Spurs won 55. Without the division winner rule it would've been:

2 Rockets
3 LAC
4 Grizz
5 Spurs
6 Blazers

Not sure about the exact order but it wouldn't matter for the latter rounds. Can't speak for anyone else but I'd say the Spurs were a much better team than an injured Grizz team.

some numbers that all count for the west but not the east. the hawks regular season domination against the west doesnt count, but the west's regular season domination against the east does count. the cavs have been finals favorites for a couple months now, but for some reason we are surprised that they are actually gonna make it and they now suck.

clips, grizz, and spurs would have great shots to make the conference finals for sure. none are good enough to just write them in there though. and the blazers, mavs, and pelicans did absolutely nothing to convince anyone they would win a round against the cavs, bulls, hawks, or wizards.

Why do statements like that upset people?

This isn't CFB or CBB you aren't missing the playoffs/tourney because of how weak a conference is.

Hell if my favorite team was in the East I would hope it would stay terrible.
