Hey baw. I staked an early claim to the Wednesday DAT. But if you want to #CommunityLead, I'll gladly step aside.

I can't even begin to try and be positive after this. I don't like to be super negative but frick.

I mean let's be honest, winning game 5 is gonna be really tough. We blew it today, but we're playing against a team that lost 3-2 in game 7 of the WS last year. The Royals have postseason experience and were bound to have a big inning at some point. Likewise, our bullpen was bound to melt. They're really fricking good this year, and we're a surprise that shouldn't have made it this far. There's no pressure on our guys to win, and our brand of offense gives us a punchers chance even in games where the odds are stacked against us.

This has been a great season for the Stros regardless of what happens in game 5. Can't deny that this has been a fun year after a whole bunch of bullshite seasons.

I saw them lose Game 1 at the K. It's baseball. One game. I've also seen Cueto struggle in big games. Fine, count them out though. Why not? They don't need anyone but themselves to win

Are you talking out loud or just in general? I said if there is a team that could do it, it's the stros.

But the K will be rocking and I think Johhny C will be ready. JMO.

I'm talking about it being one game. Anyone's game.

the ending of the game due to work. What was the situation when Correa made the E on the ground ball? HOw many runs scored after that?

KC already had 2 runs in and the bases loaded (6-4). Grounder that tipped off Sipps glove, Correa, moving to his left, just whiffed on the high bounce, would have been a DP with a run scoring (6-5).

No telling how many runs score with 2 outs, but at least you have a chance to get out with the lead.

My optimism is shot. At least for today. It doesn't get more golden than having a 4 run lead at home in the 8th inning. They couldn't make that happen. In 2 innings the bullpen not only blew the lead but took us out of it. From a 4 run lead to a 3 run defeat in 2 innings. I'm completely crushed and can't see them coming back.

Oh cool, yeah you are right it is one game, but if you want to be a douche and get technical it's either the Royals or Stros game, mate

I didn't say either way. You said you expect the Astros to lose. I do not expect anything.

Now that I've had a little time to settle down. Time to look forward to Wednesday. Series is 0-0 now. Only game that matters now is Wednesday.

Go Stros!

Is it unrealistic to expect a team to lose while saying that they still (obviously) have a chance to win? This is some strange kind of pissing match you got going on.

Anyway, if you don't think that it's tough bouncing back from a loss like this, on the road no less against a suddenly vet team, then IDK what to tell you. We'll just agree to disagree.

You're stating the obvious is all. We all know.

But the Astros can win the game. Once it starts, what happened the game before doesn't mean a thing. Easy? No, it's winner-take-all playoff baseball. But they can win. That is all I'm saying.

I am stating the obvious? You keep saying either team can win. It does not get any more obvious than that. I made a prediction. But I also predicted the Stros would win today, so...

Thanks man. I feel better knowing it was some goofy bounce instead of a whiff on a straight forward grounder. So pumped that Correa is an Astro...dude is gonna be fun to watch.

I don't understand why he's keeping Gattis in the lineup. Look at how Colby has responded by moving to the cleanup spot. In the first 5 innings of the game, I think we left some runs on the table because they were able to pitch around Rasmus to get to Gattis, who swung at everything and struck out or lined up. It's unacceptable to be that weak at the 5 spot. I think we have to do something different in game 5.
