re: Recommendations for 870 18" Barrel - texastiger38
I recently bought a Carlsons 18.5 for my 870, but I haven't shot it yet. It has screw in choke tubes though, which is cool. Came with a cylinder choke.
This is what I ended up going with from Midway. Carlson barrel with Remchokes, so i can use my existing ones. ...

I plan on doing that for the 28" barrel that came with it, just need to find a shorter one for home defense, lot of options out there. ...

re: Recommendations for 870 18" Barrel - texastiger38
I don't believe it's "European style" I took it to the skeet range after I got it and had it had a hard time ejecting fired shells. Seems like that has been an issue with newer 870s because there are tiny machine marks in that part of the barrel, and after a round is fired, it expands just ...

Recommendations for 870 18" Barrel - texastiger38
Acquired a new 870 express (gift). Already have an SBE2 for a bird gun, was planning on using this for home defense. Anyone have recommendations for an aftermarket 18" barrel? Or just use a Remington one?...

re: Benelli SBE II owners - texastiger38
I love mine, probably have 1000 rounds through it this season between dove/duck/pheasant hunting. Only cleaned it once after I hunted a saltwater marsh. Has cycled everything from 7/8 oz target loads to 1-3/8 oz duck loads, no problems....
adeveon just needed to get healthy, end of story. Everything else that made him the 1st overall pick was there. Frankly, I'm glad they took care of his health and played it cautiously. It should pay off in the long term, and its clearly already paying off now.
So much of this....

re: Brock Osweiler greatest NFL troll? - texastiger38
Meme is a little dishonest, if the Texans don't keep him after next season, he'll have robbed 37 million, not 75. Savage looked pretty good yesterday, hopefully they roll with him. The "rumor" around Houston is Osweiler was the product of Bob McNair, not necessarily a Rick Smith/O'Brien decis...
