Highly doubt a college of rich hebrews stole their mascot name from the ponch baws. They were probably the chicken farmers in 1913 and needed to class up the joint.

Best of luck to both teams, but I doubt the lake waves roll that offense. The Z has had a much tougher road to the ship then the ponch. west monroe and destrehan, they also rolled your toughest regular season matchup by triple the score.

writing is on the wall, baw.

The big thing for a newcomer to the dome to guard against is letting the venue be bigger than the game as happened to at least several teams playing games in the dome. P's secondary will be the best that Z has seen all year. 2 is a force to be reckoned with any time he is on the field.

This, like the Catholic and Jesuit matchup last week are what matchups in the highest classification should look like.

split or not -there are 18 deserving teams in there.

good lord dude, let that cal preps stuff go... 1a, 2a are very different from 5a and 4a..... Top to bottom these are all teams very deserving of being there.... IN THEIR CLASS.

I guess if your owls could play in 1a maybe they would be there

I love that Ponchatoula has broken through and made it to the Dome.... Parody is good.

But Zachary probably wins this one.

Neither is Lindsey or Boston Scott

This looks like a good matchup on paper. I think Zachary wins in a close one

Let's see if their defense is up to the task of stopping Eli Holstein and the high-powered Zachary offense.
. The Toula Defense is legit. Of course this a legit Zachary offense as well. I this is where the game will be decided. How is the Zachary defense and run defense?

I enjoy a good parody. But I’m not sure how that has anything to do with this thread.

Zachary run defense is ok but nothing to write home about. I think WM wore them down pretty good in the run game but completely shut down passing in second half. I haven't watched Ponchy but I would say as long as they are balanced they will score. The bigger question is can you keep Zachary to less than 35?

Not hammond, BR or any association that had either team in playoffs already

No respect, I like it. Fwiw Ponchatoula High has existed since 1913 and been the Green Wave since 1923, longer than Zachary has existed.

From Zachary’s wiki. Not sure any of that matters Saturday. I love the WM hate that still exists on the MSB since the quarterfinal. Zachary rolls 42-14. Eli is going B2B in 21 and 22.

How many different associations are there in LA? Because that could be an issue on the slim chance that they’ve combined to have every single association through 8 combined games plus their two home associations

Shreveport, Monroe, Alexandria, Lake Charles, Lafayette, Houma, River Parishes, New Orleans (plus Hammond and BR)

No idea, I don't really care as long as its not that bunch that did our game against John Ehret. They didn't favor either team, it was that they called stuff I have never seen before.
