You're taking the committment serious and just trying to be a good coach. It's perfectly fine. Go for it.
Some people may tell you that you take it too seriously. Let them.
You do what you can to elevate your kids, coach 'em up, love them and then see how well you can get your team to play.

We are 31-18.Our Strength of Schedule is 22ish.
If we win 4 of 6, and go to Hoover and go 2-2, we'll finish 38-22 and guess what?
We'll make a Regional. It doesn't matter if we get in as a 2 seed or a 3.
We'll get in.

Right. This is Borderline Personality Trait Disorder.
There are similarities between Borderline and Bi-Polar. My Borderline ex-wife was misdiagnosed once as Bi-Polar.
In Borderlines, there is a strong sense/ fear of abandonment. This may be perceived or from an actual traumatic life eperience...

Even though I know they may believe some of the BS they spew, I still struggle to find it acceptable, in any way.
I can be told medically their wires are crossed up. Or that they have a chemical imbalance.
I can be told that spiritually they are hurting.... or that they have real legit mental ...

I'm gonna chime in here on single momma's - I know a number of them and have dated a few over the years.
Mom's are nurterer's, care-takers and lovers. They raise their kids with the soft side - and in a lot cases, they are total push-overs when he comes to keeping their kids in line and disciplin...
