Without rapid inflation, I never will. I am at $74k now between teaching and school coaching and running my club team. I make passive income to get me another $10k, but at one job, I won't until I go into administration. I am 30 now...ugh.

Should eclipse it this year at 33. I'm thinking of framing my pay stub and giving to my father on his birthday. Is that too ostentatious?

29 with a salary over $100k this year. I have made close to that with OT and bonuses in my previous career.

My wife makes 150k+ working under 40 hours per week in sales. She hustles for the time she works though.

25/26

Made it a couple years in a row working overtime on the road, then came home to start a family and took a huge cut for a salary gig on 40 hours. Haven't quite hit it again and I'm 30 now but I'm not far off.

Put a 6 figure down payment on a house I built and paid my truck off. The low mortgage is awesome.

Was dead broke and even had a negative check at 24. I'm 28 and hit 100 last year(109), will hit 140 this year on my 1099. Never thought I would see the day. Biggest thing is to continue to live like you are broke. It's amazing what you can save. People always want to jump to the next tier as far as homes, cars, boats, eating at fancy restaurants. That shite will come but I plan to save a ton first. Just my strategy.

Hit it when I was 30. Sales. But the whole having multiple people trying to take your job all the time is pretty stressful.

27. Felt like I hit a milestone, but as mentioned, I still try to live like I'm in college. I try to limit my lifestyle creep to getting bacon on my whataburger every other visit.

Don't get all the downvotes... it's true.. pharmacist have a great salary but no bonuses or anything unless you're a manager and it's not worth the stress to me to do that.

Should change title to who made 100k while working under 40hrs a week lol..

I am 15k short of my base salary. My EoY Bonus puts me right there at the moment. 31.

Hopefully by 35 my base will be 100k and w/ bonus in the 130's .

I like guaranteed money though. I feel for those NFL players lol.

I was going to ask you if that's what you did from your first post. My wife is in retail, and that's exactly how she feels.

Goal was at 30. I'm 31 and 15k short. Hopefully by 33 I'll hit this goal. I jumped jobs every 2 years to get to this though... might not look good on my resume but it is what it is. I'll stick to this one for a while though, unless I get a better offer.

I work about 20-30 hours a week honestly. I also travel a lot which is tiring. Sales

At 23 as an engineer in O&G. I was fortunate to do well in school and sneak into the industry during a bust period.

Not bad bad by today's standard. The CFO that hired me said it was a plus to see this sort of movement on my resume - stayed at each long enough to show some consistency, moved just often enough to diversify my background and show upward career trend/drive.

There is nothing wrong with celebrating financial success with some splurge purchases if you use them (boat) and it doesn't affect your retirement and other short term goals.

To the OP, I'm in the club. Early 30's.

Im at $130k, work at a retail in a less than desirable city here in MS.. so they pay you more to work there vs my best friends who work in Atlanta or Tampa for example... but I have no budget meetings or anything ... just go to work and go home and live my life.
