I'm trying to remember if there were any ceremonies, jazz funerals or memorials for Mike V. I don't think school was in session when he passed away

A poster had the idea of bringing his empty trailer down victory hill and allowing fans to put cards and flowers on it.

Would be nice to do something like that, and then have it driven around Tiger Stadium before the first game after he passes.

Well he already has about 5 statues. Including one literally in front of his home.

It was on graduation day, unfortunately.

Isn't there a Mike stuffed in one of the museums on campus?

They'll probably just name the stadium after his species.

He does not. The previous Mikes each have one.

Those are just bronze tiger statues. They don't represent each Mike.

I think Mike 2 is the one that is stuffed and in the Museum on campus.

I never got a response from Alleva on that idea but I had sent him an email in the middle of last week during that whole Florida clusterfrick.

Mike I is on display in the Museum of Natural Science in Foster and those bronze statues have no relation to the former Mike's whatsoever

His habitat already looks like a memorial with the cards, drawings, flowers and balloons.
