Would be the biggest additions to next year’s team we can have.

Maybe get a true PG along with the other big center we got and I think we will have a dangerous team if those 2 stay.

Will also get Smith back with another year under our current Freshman. Maybe one of them take a big leap forward as PG. I think Poa will also be back and can take a step forward as PG.

I’d expect a big leak by Big 4 again.

HVL admitted, pre season, to being almost obsessive over her standing in the player rankings. To me, that means she's serious about playing at the next level. Just don't see her present game transferring to the WNBA; I can see her going to play in Europe.

They make more money staying. We will have more depth next year. They seem to have developed a sisterhood. I'm not sure what the pluses are for them to leave this year rather than to play another year unless they're just tired of the crap they get.

I hope they stay, but I have no idea what they will do. We will find out shortly.

They’d be idiots not to. College WBB is so much bigger than the WNBA right now, this is probably the most famous they’ll ever be and they’ll make more money in college… once they go to the WNBA no one will care. My girlfriend’s never watched a basketball game in her life and still she knows who Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark and Kim Mulkey are.

I can’t even name more than 5 WNBA teams. Nor do I wish to get to the point where I can.

They need a couple shooters who are a real threat from the outside consistently, with an emphasis on the consistently part.

We have a freshman coming in who is exactly that. The top women's player in Louisiana who lead her team to 4 straight state championships. Can she step right in and do it? Only time will tell but she did that in highschool

You put Georgia Amoore from Va Tech (18 ppg and 7 assists) who is transferring on a team with Reese and HVL staying, and that would be one hell of a team. Jada Richard from Louisiana is a PG and LA Gatorade Player of the Year but I haven't seen her highly rated nationally. But then again, Del Rosario was ranked in the top 10 nationally, and she didn't remotely resemble her high rating this season. Her fouls almost matched her points.

I think she will follow her coach to Kentucky, but what do I know.....just my opinion

Van Lith has to go, its just a numbers game. She won't be looking to come off the bench next year, in a final season, aiming to learn more at PG and push her draft stock back up. If we got an actual starter at PG, then there is no starting sport for her because you don't put Flau'jae or Mikaylah on the bench to start a 5'7, 2 guard.

Reese on the other hand, now with Jersey coming in and Smith coming back, add in Del Rosario, would head up the best front court in America, but I think she goes too because that halts Del Rosario's development more cause of a lack of PT and Morrow would still be coming off the bench, so I just don't see it, I think they both leave.

That has been mentioned and you "know" as much as anyone. My counter argument was 1) Kentucky right now is a dumpster fire...hence the head coach firing 2) she only has 1 year left to play and could slide in to a team with more talent and also fit right in to a position of great need. I don't think she follows her coach but "what do I know...just my opinion."

I don't agree with this statement for the fact that she was never supposed to play as much as did this year and grew by leaps and bounds and you can see she's going to be really good, its just cleaning up some things. I could see the same kind of jump from year 1 to year 2 like Smith showed at the beginning of the season because of all the PT she got.

I was much more disappointed in Mikaylah. Around the start of SEC play with the game against Ole Miss, she stopped working for her shots in the offense and only working for what the offense gave her, she has to be willing to cut and move without the ball just like Flau'jae has learned to do. She was ranked #2 in the class but I'd say, Watkins at USC, Hidalgo at ND, Booker at Texas and Fulwiley at SC have all surpassed her. She needs better conditioning and work on the defensive end as well.

Way too much IMO is made about "starting". What counts is playing time. And LSU starters should not be playing about 35 minutes out of 40. That has been the entire depth issue. For example, get say an Amoore or someone else as "starting" PG. Van Lith could be a "breather" PG, play scoring guard some which is supposed to be her position, etc. It is not remotely a numbers game IMO. LSU doesn't even have a large number of players committed for this class/transfer portal. I believe it is just Richard from LA HS and Jersey the transfer from Arkansas as of now. And I think LSU will lose one of the TR FR who hardly played this season.

Why would someone who was a #1 option, who came here to prove herself at a new position, then take a backseat to a guard of the same build, who can already play the position, in their last year? That makes no sense. I said HVL should leave. I didn't say to the WNBA though.

Even just ONE would make us hard to defend

The only reason I said a couple is bc I’m tired of having absolutely zero depth. But yes having just one would nearly make us unstoppable. Especially if Del Rosario takes the next step and or Reese comes back.
