You take the wins with Etling.

He completes less than 50% of his passes every game. Brennan has more arm talent. Period. These last three games are just as winnable for Brennan as they are for Etling.

Brennan isn't the answer.

Winning out is the most important thing. Establishing where we are as a program at 9-3 is better than anything else we can do.

Secondary item should be getting Myles meaningful playing time.

IMO - Etling starts but Myles plays at least a series a half. And if the game is in any way a blowout Myles plays the rest of the way.

Etling is an average QB. Gutsy, not too many mistakes, but the Bama game again showed his issues.

Now, Brennan, we're not sure. So why not get him some PT to find out.

I don't care if it means less chance of victory. (And that's debatable)

I don't mind getting Brennan some PT.

But not when you're down by 11 in Tuscaloosa with 4 minutes left. You out Brennan in a no-win situation and insulted Etling.. except if you gave up. To me, that signalled CEO gave up on the game. Couple that with the plays called and no TOs taken, and Brennan was only out there because CEO was conceding the game while our defense was still playing their arse off.

That is my largest issue with putting Brennan in when he did.

You think Coach O conceeded the game by pulling Etling, who had a total of 34 yards and no TD in the second half? What fantasy world do you live in that you think Etling was going to bring us back or have a chance to bring us back? I think it was a smart move to bring in some arm talent. It was worth a shot.

I'd be ok with a rotation of him and etling. Also, I'm good with him going in last night if nothing else to give him a taste of what it's like on the field in the 7th layer of hell

Well, If Brennan doesn't play in the Troy game, we don't lose to troy. So, are you willing to risk losing to play Brennan? if so, don't get on a message board and bitch about the coach.

I have Faith Brennan can be a really good qb next year without playing this year. Hodson and Winston were great r.s. freshman who didn't play the year before.

I rather keep Danny playing, try to get to 10 wins, and continue to try and improve the program.

Because that's not how you treat your players.

Talk about negative recruiting.

This board is hilarious. There are like 100 other teams that would kill to have 9-10 wins every year.

No, had he put in Brennan earlier it's a different story. Pulling etling with 4 minutes to throw a bunch of short passes and not use TOs tells me that CEO conceded.

Etling should, but Brennan should play at least a quarter.
