The O-line was overwhelmed by the amount of guys Bama was sending time after time. Bama knew JJ wasn't going to beat them by passing. You can't seriously blame the O-line for that, that's on coaching and JJ. They loaded the freaking box man!

the o-line got physically manhandled. Lee would be in intensive care right now.

The worse I have ever seen. Just watch it again, one LSU blocker is running away from the Bama pass rusher.

It really disturbs me with how clueless the fans are right now. Why on earth do you think the oline was manhandled???? Probably because with JJ under center, there was no chance that he would actually PASS the ball, so why not stack the line and attack the backfield. JL quicker release, so maybe he actually gets the ball off in time. Before JL was benched, he had the highest QB efficiency in the SEC. This season JJ-100 pass attemtps 14 sacks, JL-167 pass attempts and 4 sacks. It seems like JL is way better than JJ with the pass rush. Les Miles put too much stock into Georgia Southern's option offense against Bama that he didn't know what to do if it didn't work. If you rewatch the game, you will notice the consistantly open receivers. Maybe a QB that can read a defense and a quicker release could have completed those big passes.

OL got destroyed, dude. Plain and simple. Oh, JJ and JL both suck so it wouldn't have mattered who played.

OL cannot block 8-9 men that are in the box for running plays due to the total lack of fear of the LSU passing game. I doubt the DBs and Safeties for Bama even had to run much. We had zero clue that we needed to pass to set up the run in this game.

Somehow our staff missed that class when they went to the how to do a game plan seminar.

Hold on just a minute. The o line is leslies specialty it's what he knows best, it's what he played. Here is no way our o line could play bad because les miles, who walks On water in Louisiana, coaches them and he is the best coach ever, right? This site is so full of sheep it isnt even funny. I have been questioning miles for 7 years this is the reason he is the worst game day coach I have ever seen at any level. His game plan was horrible. He is a nice guy terrible coach!

O line had a really bad game, there is no doubt about that. We couldn't run, and JJ had very little time. Not to mention all the dumb arse penalties

if u stop lsu running game we finished....doesn't matter who at qb if we can't run the ball we prolly have 0 every game. our passing game is based on playaction after running sucessfully and thats it. o-line had the worst game every hands down. didn't open one whole all night

Funny how all these people "knew all along" how terrible of a coach Miles is, they just somehow kept their mouths shut for the first 13 games of the season.

The one thing that I saw in the game that no one else has mentioned is the amount JJ was changing the plays at the LOS so who knows what plays were called. From an O-lineman point of view, if a play was called in the huddle and in your mind you think it has a chance, then, the qb changes the play to something you know won't work, how motivated are you to block. I don't know if this happened, but I saw JJ changing almost every play. If that is true, then I blame the coaches for not climbing his arse because apparently he was not seeing the right things. I never played o line so I don't know how their mind works in game situations, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

These two idiots saying that they stacked the box did not watch the same game as everybody else. There were always two guys over the top. They beat us with their front 7.

In all honesty the entire offense looked discombobulated in the majority of the games JJ started.

Our RBs and QB had no shot.... sure we had WRs open at times -- but when the QB has a guy on his back in 0.6 seconds -- he's not going to see the reciever.
Thats just BS. Oline play, aside from Hurst penalties, was not that bad until late in the game when they knew it was over. JJ had plenty of pockets to throw in but like usual couldn’t pull the trigger.

When a team lays an egg as big as the one we laid on Monday noght, there is plenty of blame to go around.
