Holy crap! This dude is talking about Hillary supporting fair voting; trying to invoke "Jim Crow". Wow. His message is all about pandering to the population on entitlements....

re: Need new brake pads and rotors recommendations/help - TheLSUriot
Nothing wrong with stock rotors but definitely upgrade the pads. I just put a set of Power Stop on all 4 corners. Been very pleased thus far; solid steady breaking power and most importantly, absolutely no squealing or any sound at all. I followed the break-in SOP to the letter. Power Stop K2068 Z...

re: New style Micro portable jump boxes - TheLSUriot
I have been considering getting a unit such as this. After laughing at the term 'Antigravity Battery' for a minute, I had to google it. Turns out its a Nanophosphate Lithium system, and is incapable of creating a mass effect field. Its a cool gadget but that last part is a deal breaker....

Astronaut returns from 1 year in space - TheLSUriot
I haven’t seen this posted yet. Scott Kelly just returned from a 1 year ISS mission in what is referred to as the “Twins Study” because his twin brother (Mark, also a former astronaut) remained on Earth as a 1G control subject acting as a baseline to study Scott’s response to long duration spacefl...

re: Amazing video review of The Patriot - TheLSUriot
That was not amazing. I did love the cut away to a SG-1 scene with Ben Browder. That brit should head his own advice about quality content. The last half of that video was hard to listen to. The Patriot was not meant to be a documentary....

re: Tired of negative air time... - TheLSUriot
And that shite is still on the front page! It has not been verified so it is NOT news. Have some respect for the program/university. Front page should read "Reporters are to be held accountable". ...

re: Looking back at the late 1990's Louisiana High School Basketball Talent: - TheLSUriot
late 1990's Louisiana High School Basketball Talent
You rang! I'm right here. How many of you guys played in the 90's? Played Vinton with Ben Perkins and saw that guy windmill dunk from the free throw line. It was crazy! We held him to only 8 points and beat Vinton's arse that...

re: Sixgill fishing reels - TheLSUriot
I went in on that deal the last time. I think I posted a brief update in the previous thread. I compare everything to my Revo STX. Simply have not been pleased with them at all, even considering them as $75 reels. Spoken to the owner a couple of times about all the issues I was experiencing and got ...

re: How's the Traffic Flow of Tiger Fans on I-10 West? - TheLSUriot
Drove from LA to S. Houston this morning. Traffic was light. Only areas of concern are just before and after Beaumont proper. But I got off I-10 in Baytown so not sure about that stretch entering Houston....

re: McNeese St. Cowboys -- 2015 Southland Conference Champions - TheLSUriot
Great showing by Cowboy fans. Man was it cold at that game! 1st half everyone was jumping around; 2nd half everyone was wrapped up in blankets. McNeese left more points on the field than they scored with all the mistakes made in the red zone. 2 fumbles in the endzone......

re: Would there be any interest in a board rewatch of a popular show? - TheLSUriot
So you have a head start! You are right though. The length of the original series could be a problem. I think it is 20 episodes per season and 10 seasons in total; plus 2 straight to DVD movies. Perhaps Atlantis would be the better choice for something like this at only 5 seasons....

re: Would there be any interest in a board rewatch of a popular show? - TheLSUriot
I occasionally checked out that Fringe thread, didn't participate but thought it was a cool idea. Battlestar Galactica would be cool because I have seen a good bit of the later seasons but not in order. Another show along those lines that I have been waiting to rewatch is Stargate and Stargate Atlan...

re: Changing Differential/TransCase/Transmission Fluid to Amsoil - TheLSUriot
Sorry, I was busy this afternoon. Think I recall you mentioning a Denali but didn't remember until you brought it up. I currently run Amsoil in a Range Rover Sport and Escalade EXT with great results thus far.
I figured since the front diff is always under load that I should get the heaviest...

re: Changing Differential/TransCase/Transmission Fluid to Amsoil - TheLSUriot
Yes, severe gear in the front and rear diffs in an AWD truck with ATF in the transfer case. Highly recommend Amsoil. I also use an extended life oil filter they make for the GM 6.2. Hear good things about their engine oil but haven't switched from Mobil 1 and probably never will. I use Lucas product...
