"On the brief videos from the first two practices, it seemed to me that Jennings was just not focused."

Jennings first two years you mean.

wait, I thought we were supposed to believe that Crowton wasn't allowed to run his offense at LSU. Since Miles always overrules the playcalling, I guess he gets the credit for the 07 offense

You know how this works. If the offense sucks it is because of Miles, if the offense does well it is in spite of Miles.

If you seriously think the wiz inserted and ran his O in 2007, I won't waste my time with you.

I guess it shouldn't surprise us anymore when this happens.

Oh no!! Mayhawman won't waste his time with me!! You are correct, the offense in 07' looked just like the one in 06' with J Russ and Krewe. J Russ in the pistol running the read option was a thing of beauty wasn't it? The 07' offense is exactly what Miles would run if he were OC. So first year OC under Miles do not get to install and run their system?? So last year was Cams real offense and not 13'? God help us if you are correct Sir!!

Cliff notes:

1). 07' was Miles best year of matching scheme with talent (ie let playmakers make plays in BOTH run and pass game)

2). This occurred while Crowton was OC

3). Miles could learn from past history as that scheme talent match yielded a NC

4). Pieces seem to be in place IF BH is a true playmaker

5). Miles supporters and detractors are masters at reading into everything and taking nothing at face value

Simplified enough for you?

I'm sorry, but did I miss something? The season hasn't started yet, has it? They're not actually playing against other teams yet, are they?

You are not being complex, you just don't know how to form a coherent thought, Gary

Coach Ball had to be pissed with all those dropped passes. Quinn snagged everything. Our new 3rd down wide out. AJ with some zip now trying to lead the wide out nice. Harris always looking good the only thing he needs to work on now is not sailing it or putting to much on the screen routes. He doesn't even know his own strength lol. Just a flick of the wrist Harris.

Harris' setup and release reminds me of Troy Aikman with such a tight spiral. He is a better athlete than Aikman...go back and watch Aikman back from back in the 90s.

Laser Cannon. Harris' arm reminds me so much of RP's, plus always always always had eyes down field.

Aikman did throw a nice spiral but no one threw a more prettier spiral than Warren Moon.

Look at Bunta's post above. They also seemed to be working on bubble screens. Can they get Donte Jackson involved in that drill too?
