It's Day 3 of Camp, still early I know, but Anthony Jennings did a lot of standing and watching while Brandon Harris took reps today. #LSU

This one is from Scott Rabalais.

Just watched Jennings, Harris throw a variety of passes. Harris still No. 1. Throws most effortless deep ball at #LSU since JaMarcus Russell

And this includes Zach Mettenberger.

On the brief videos from the first two practices, it seemed to me that Jennings was just not focused. I guess that is understandable given what all he has been through lately. And, we are only seeing a small fraction of the whole...he may have done much better once the media were out of sight.

Yes, that is probably it. He has never performed poorly in public prior, so it is pretty safe to assume he turned it on...similar to his old self, as soon as the cameras were gone.

Or if this tweet is correct, maybe he didn't and the coaches are moving full steam ahead with Harris getting the lion's share of the reps like a starter would!!!

More likely of a scenario IMO.

I think your are probably correct Jax. I have always felt Harris was the better QB. I hope he takes the reins and gets off to a great start.

Miles - "Harris is really coming on, threw it well today, still a little work to do, but I like the way the competition is progressing."

Rantards - "See, I told you Jennings is a lock to start, here we come Music City Bowl"

I kinda wish I had bookmarked all the "get ready for another dose of jennings" and "Miles loves him some Jennings" posts.

Is everyone still pissed that Miles "plays favorites" if Harris is his favorite and probably always has been?

I need CptBengal and others to explain

No, they'll simply shift in their criticism. It will go from "a decent QB will never develop under Miles" to "Miles finally let Cam run the offense."

Either way, the only credit Miles will ever receive from them is negative credit.
