I was tepidly approving of the pursuit when it was in motion. I was wrong and I’m glad we never got him. Jamies made him look good in hindsight.

Sometimes you don’t find the golf ball you went looking for in the brush, you find a better one.

I was one of those idiots.

ETA: I wanted either Herman or Jimbo over Ed. I’m so fricking glad we kept him though. And I say this with a vast amount of trepidation...thanks Alleva.

I wanted him, but not for what he was asking for and what aggy gave him.

Watching them in a dogfight with a sec team that's been winless in conference for almost two years is gold though. Lol

O is working out a lot better than I thought he would. The UGA game last year sold me. Meanwhile Fisher is losing to R-Kansas

Never wanted. Ever.

He's a superb OC but an abortion of a HC. My post history from back in '16 and on will show that I was on the Herman train (not afraid to admit it, or that I was wrong about that).

Jimbo rode the Seminoles on the coattails of Bowden and left FSU in absolute shambles, and aTm grossly overpaid for someone who will never have them competing for the SEC Title.

It is what it is. I would never have thought Ed Orgeron was the answer, but so far so good. I'll also admit I was one who wanted O lynched after Troy.

I didn't want him, but I wouldn't write him off quite yet. He's got some years to build and then, we'll see.

He’s a fantastic head coach. He’s just at aTm for the paycheck.

The aggies will still wind up winning, sadly. Chavis will go to his infamous Prevent defense and the aggies will score in the 4th.

I always thought the jimbo’s plays quickly break down. Jimbo hasn’t been good since that retard Winston

I thought he would be an upgrade in offensive philosophy from Les, but was not married to him as "the coach."

If we could have gotten him for a fair salary (not Texas A&M money), I would have been satisfied. But, I would have been happy with several other choices, too.

Now, I am happy as hell he is an AGGIE!!

O is exceeding my expectations and that makes me happy.

Can we not wait until O actually beats him on the field and/or losses less than 3 games in a season? No? Only in-the-moment emotional responses are allowed? Ok.

I’d argue that Jimbo made Winston look good in hindsight. Same with Ponder and Manuel. All suck / sucked in the NFL

And Joe Brady is the key to all of this. We have Joe Brady, so there’s no need for Jimbo. If we didn’t have Brady, we might would need a Jimbo.
