I doubt many respectable coaches want to deal with that shite show in dallas. They are slowing becoming the raiders of the past 15yrs.

Dream Want: Pete Caroll

Realistic Want: Jim Harbaugh

While I hate both...wins are all that really matter at the end of the day and both are very much capable of it. Jim turned around Stanford and the 49ers owner is supposedly not a big fan of his...this may be possible...but it would require a Alabama/Nick Saban type offering

College Level Wants:
Chris Peterson : Boise nuff said

First of all I think Les retires in Baton Rouge BUT I think Les would be a successful NFL coach. He would stand behind his players and they would want to play for him. His coaching style of running the football and playing defense is what wins in the NFL as well. With his personality and Jerry's money Dallas would be a perfect situation for him.

In that order.

Fantastic coach that I would do cartwheels if we ever got, but I really dont think he's realistic at all...why do you think realistic?...why would he leave SanFran?

(Of course he'd be at the top of anyone's list and every program owes it to itself to make overtures, but I do not think anyone not named Michigan is pulling him away, and even Michigan probably couldn't reel him in)

Agreed. And I think he fits the Jerry/JimmyJ mold.

Timing sucks, but James Franklin would be solid.

No love for Dantonio?

I could see him being a good fit here, and his schemes would fit well with our personnel.

The real answer is Frank Wilson.

If we could get Dantonio and keep ~half of our staff, we'd be just as good as now.

I like frank too, but wouldn't you be a little nervous with that one? I know I would. Hell I don't even want an OC or DC, much less a mere position coach/recrutingCoord

Either way, I wouldn't want to lose frank, but I think it's a stretch at this point...he needs to go be HC at LaTech/ULL/USM/etc, have success, and then I would get on board with that.

If it was Wilson we'd be more likely to keep Cam and Chavis where they are. I'm more concerned about losing Les's recruiting skills and the coordinators.

If Wilson moved up, we'd keep Chavis and Cam most likely, and let them run their own shows. Frank could be an awesome CEO and Justin Vincent could move up to Running Backs coach. We wouldn't really lose much.
