The initial comment I responded to was "10-2 just doesn't cut it anymore"

To me that implied that 10-2 in the regular season isn't good enough at this point.

LSU has only been better than 10-2 in the regular season in 2003 (11-1), 2005 (11-1), and 2011 (12-0).

LSU has won the SEC in 2001, 2003, 2007, and 2011.

it is a bit discouraging to see our fans run down the coaching staff so regularly around here.
These are not "our fans". That is, if you are (like me) an LSU fan.

If, on the other hand, you are a fan of bitching, earning self worth by impressing people on an anonymous internet message board, and being too "cool" to enjoy something like a normal person and instead trying to look "edgy" by criticizing someone who is making millions of dollars a year by being one of the 4 or 5 best in the country at his job, then these are indeed "your fans".

4 out of 11 is pretty solid. Not sure why some 'fans' are knocking the program. A lot of them are really bama trolls trying to make our fan base look like tards

Time management
- not going hurry up 2-minute drill heading in to half time, leaving points on the field

Discipline
- horrible penalties just hindering our progress down the field

That's about it honestly. These are the 2 mistakes you do not see in a team that wins championships.

I'll kige that

Winning one in four SEC titles is what Bama has done in the last four years... one of the best stretches in their program's distinguished history

it's the truth. It's true that a lot of them are actually bama fans. I've seen them admit it on some bama forums. Some with even 50,000 or more posts on here.

Les Miles. Hate to say it but it's true..

No, it's not. This kind of stuff happens with every team. Bama just had Auburn run it right down their throat and their coach botched the entire 4th quarter. The Saints do it every year. Ohio State's coach just helped his team shite the bed this weekend. This isn't a Les Miles issue. This is a human nature issue.

Case in point: It's finals week coming up for all college students. The have two finals during the week. One you need a 60% to get an "A". The other you need 90% to get an "A". Are you studying just as hard for both or are you studying harder for the one you need to do better on?

This.
And also, Saban. Without Saban, Les probably wins the 2011 NC and accomplished maybe the greatest season in cfb history. 2012, losing to Saban cost LSU the west division and dropped down to chicken bowl. No team has done great against Saban but no other team had as much to lose.

LSU scored going into the half in a two minute situation against TCU, MSU, Alabama, and aTm this season.

That was actually a really strong suit for this LSU team. Strange thing to complain about.

it's good but not great, Definite huge gap between us and Bama but we are on par with Auburn and the like talent wise. We load up on the skill guys but are lacking in the trenches and especially on the o line and big tough LB's

I guess we need to send back those two SEC Championship Trophies for '07 and '13, and that crystal ball from '07.

Y'all are pathetic. The only coach who has come anywhere close to the performance of Miles at LSU is Saban at Bama. And y'all are so obsessed with jealousy and inferiority complexes that you're sucking him off like he has never made a mistake (or been completely outcoached like he was by Gus Malzahn this year, Kevin Sumlin last year, Les Miles in '10 and '11, Kyle Willingham and Urban Meyer in '08, etc.).

It is laughable how badly the dipshits on this board overrate Saban, while at the same time lambasting Miles for not matching Saban's results as if any idiot could do it. And the annoying part is that people will see clips from this board reported and think y'all are actual LSU fans.

Saban is a great coach who had a horseshoe stuck up his arse from November 6, 2011, until last Saturday night when he won that review to get the extra second put back on to the scoreboard. Then he unclenched for a moment and it slipped out, and he experienced the first significant bad break for his team in more than 2 years.

And even with all that luck, he didn't come close to matching the last real dynasty of dominance, which was Tom Osborne's Huskers who were UNDEFEATED National Champions 3 times in 4 years from '94-'97, and only lost 2 games overall in that period.

it's true, it happens to every team. Just that we, of course, focus so much on LSU that we notice every little thing the staff does., MIles has his fringe detractors but for the most part is regarded as one of the top college coaches in the country.

Yeah a team like the NE Patriots and a coach like Bellichek would never talk about effort after coming back against a much lesser team at home no less. Link

Boxcar Willie smartest person on this board. We'll get 25 recruits - 20 of them skill guys. Every play (offense and defense) is 50% comprised of guys in the trenches.

We only lost 1 more game this year than we did in 07.

We are in every game we play, but when we loose, we loose stupid.

Quoting a Detroit radio morning show guy? Seriously?

CBS Affiliate in Detroit characterization = Mike Stone.

Stoney has been a fixture in Detroit radio for parts of the last four decades. Before joining 97.1 The Ticket as co-host of The Morning Show,he was the co-host of the popular Stoney and Wojo show on WDFN from 1994-2009. He began his radio career producing and co-hosting the Sunday Sports Albom on WLLZ and WJR from 1988-1994. He has been a part of WXYZ TV’s Sunday Sports Update since 1997.

listened to it. Sounded almost identical to Miles press conference after the Arkansas game. Miles and Bellichek are both crappy coaches I suppose. Talking good about the opponent after the game. what chumps with no 'killer instinct'. Dam we got some stupid weasel fans (if indeed they really are fans)
