Henagrift is good at color analyst, terrible play by play
When he does play by play in middle innings he tries to do color at same time
I can't imagine Henagrift doing basketball either

I think Rush replaces Moreau as color for football
Blanton stays with hoops
Henagrift gets home games for baseball

Wright seems to be the logical replacement
Rollins would be a bad fit

Slam dunk. Gordy is money and knows his stuff.

Again, a slam dunk. Ricky has gotten better as the years have gone by. Would be nice to get him a p-b-p guy who can utilize him. And it's time to get Ford off the game broadcast. If he wants to to pregame and postgame, fine. Steal his headsets during game play.

Among the locals, yes. The big question is this....what does LSU value more? A guy with local ties who can keep LSU's history alive on the radio (Wright) or a guy from somewhere else who might be a little better delivery wise, but who has no prior knowledge about LSU? Tough call. People will bitch either way.

I want a really great radio voice, not a redneck like most of the other sec voices...

That's what i liked about Hawthorne, he had a pretty netural accent unlike the other twangy voices in the sec.

Are you serious? Hawthorne has a VERY "twangy" voice. Arguably one of the most redneck sounding in the SEC. shite, Bama's pbp man is from Brooklyn!

I want a guy just like JH. Wears his emotions on his sleeves. If the team is sucking it up his tone of voice will let you now...just like me.

I honestly don't mind Hanagriff

He's knowledgable and his voice doesn't bother me.

But I've never heard him call a football or basketball game.

Regardless of who replaces JH, I hope Hanagriff is still involved in radio for LSU

Did this guy apply? He would make a great LSU play by play guy.

I can't imagine anyone else calling games. How long do you think it will take to get used to another guy calling LSU games?

Someone who does not use the term "3rd sacker" would be great.

The voice is the key. It's the only variable that can't be improved upon with experience.

The one we eventually hire can't be worse than the dudes doing Arkie, TAM and or Okie State??

Or could they? That's what I was thinking when the JH bashers would go on, be careful what you wish for.

Don't want a homer please!

As long as I can understand the guy and follow him I want #1. I have a feeling being a die hard LSU fan will be a pre requisite
