I've thought it for a while....not that he's perfect...no one under the microscope is...but there is no better coach, recruiter, motivator, leader or human being coaching a BCS program right now. We are damn lucky he loves his university.

If les goes undefeated with our schedule then he would make a strong case

Ever heard of Nick fricking Saban? Every person on the planet who is not an LSU fan would tell you Saban is a better coach than Les Miles

Saban is also a better recruiter.

big if, brah.... i'm not doubting the team, but the schedule is brutal...

just hoping for the best...

and otis, Joe Paterno..... the game may have past him by, but he's a living legend and still a coach in college football as of now, so i'm going Paterno...

Only way ill agree is if LSU wins the NC this year..not just the SEC..but the NC.

If he wins it with our schedule and youth...then there is ZERO doubt...ZERO!!

We will see. Otherwise you are wrong.

i'm with you otis. I don't always understand him, but I sure as hell love having him. may not be the best when it comes to game decisions such as properly utilizing time outs, and managing the clock. But as a recruiter, motivator, role model, schemer, and having nuts of steel, there is not one coach I would take above him.

I think he's in the argument. Hard to select one overall top coach. He's up there with Saban in my book and has the record to prove it.

Les also doesn't own multiple conference championships, national championships or an undefeated season.
