Tyrann was one of the very best, if not the best, on the field talents I have ever seen wear the P & G.

I know LSU has only had one Heisman winner, but he should have won the Heisman that year just on his play alone. He was that good.

Bad habits aside, he was a game breaker. Unreal.

ahhhh King of New Orleans. Same guy who bashes New Orleans relentlessly despite his username. He's very confused. Kind of like Bruce Jenner

Hit the nail right on the head. Couldn't agree more. The Heisman has too much politics involved. They just didn't want to name a defensive player the Heisman. That was complete crap. NO ONE was ever such a game-changer like the Badger. He was a human highlight real that season. He turned games around instantly with his returning abilities too. His stat-line was absolutely ridiculous. If his stat-line isn't good enough for Heisman then I just don't know what is??? I've watched a lot of football through the years and I've never seen someone attack the football like he did. Not to mention how undersized he was but you'd never know it by the way he played the game.

In my 47 years on this earth I have never a football player with the instincts he had on the field.

Some "LSU fans" hate Honey Badger because he fricked up in his personal life.

They can't get over it, regardless of his effort to address his problems and his love for LSU.

You'd think tRant would love a redemption story for what seems like a really good guy and one of the absolute best instinctive playmakers at LSU that is an ambassador for LSU even after getting kicked off the team.

I think we may have another tradition for #'s... 18 is kind of falling off and #7 seems to be the shite now...

What do you think? upvote or downvote?

It kind of already is and I it how it is now. A new unspoken tradition. I'd rather not see LSU make an official deal out of it. I remember Fournette as a recruit mentioning that he would love that number, and HB7 also made reference to "passing it on" to him. Dylan Moses has done the same thing with Fournette. If it works out with him why ruin a good thing? After PP7, HB7, and now Buga I don't really blame a recruit if they like the idea of being the next great #7. It doesn't need to be an official tradition to be a recruiting tool and something the fans to appreciate. Leave it alone so the LSU greats who wore it can "pass it on" to a high profile recruit every few years.
