re: LSU leads for Will Ignont - djkevlar
Don't forget about Andre Anthony. I am sure he gets the eligibility issue done for spring next season....

re: Another running back this class? - djkevlar
I know Patrick Queen is listed as an ATH, but when he first committed I heard he was probably going to play RB. I could see him at Safety, but we have 2 top Safeties now. At 6'1" 215 lbs. I think he could be like an Alfred Blue, deceptively fast and able to slip through slim blocked holes....

re: Dillon or Davis - djkevlar
Dillon is going to have significant playing time this year probably at the slot position and wide-out. Only time will tell though who has a better college career. I do think that Dillon with his exp. is ready to break out....

re: Will Danny Etling get his shot? - djkevlar
I think Etling will get used this year. More and more you need a Dual-Threat QB and a Pocket-Passer QB. It can throw teams off if you have been starting Harris then all the sudden Etling comes in with a different style of play. Then they may go to Harris in the same game. In other words I could ...

re: Dillon with the Vet group this morning - djkevlar
Dillon and Ty.Johnson will make great slot WR's. Dee Anderson is looking so good that I don't know if we can keep him off the field as a Freshman. Sullivan and Ferguson give us big posession type WR's like Keyshawn Johnson. Of course our long ball WR's will be Dural, Dupree, Chark, and just becau...

re: Thoughts on this Tiger Eye Helmet? - djkevlar
I have two ideas: 1) Nothing that crazy as in OP, but they could make the Mike the Tiger Logo not flat but maybe change it to where Mike is looking forward with his mouth open and teeth showing. 2) This is image here is not bad as a replacement for Mike the Tiger logo [img]https://img0.etsyst...

re: Would you trade Fournette for Mathieu this year. - djkevlar
I think we have play makers in the secondary, I just think that the last couple of years with Chavis and the one year with Steele that the Defense was not put in positions to succeed at that style of ball. Hopefully with Aranda and his attack style D we will have a whole Defense, specifically the...

re: 2017 LSU Recruiting Priority List - djkevlar
It's funny but we have had some pleasant surprises to commit this year. Our entire class is awesome, but I am mostly talking about players that committed to this once again top 5 class that most LSU fans didn't see coming. 1) Austin Deculus 2) Seth Stewart (I could care less what is ranking is,...

re: Malik Herring - djkevlar
I didn't say Malik would be wearing #7 if he joined the Tigers. I simply meant he might be showing his hand of his favorite team at this point. Like I said it's a maybe but I found it interesting....

Malik Herring - djkevlar
Revealed his top 5 and LSU is of course one of those schools. Along with some other Powerhouse schools. However, he is wearing #7 which seems vaguely ominous, but I could be reading too much into it. However, in the future I could see #7 becoming a jersey # that is special for LSU, and whoever ...

re: 2017 OL Seth Stewart commits! - djkevlar
No doubt this kids upside is unbelievable. On his frame, he could easily go from 320-325 to 350 of hardcore muscle. He could play just about anywhere on the OL and technically he would be a menace at NT with his height being between 6'8" - 6'9". Very excited about this guy!...

re: Will Godcheaux stay at Nose, or slide over to DE? - djkevlar
I think that's the beauty of Aranda's D. He will move Godcheaux to DE, then to NT for speed over size. Just like Alexander will mostly play in the middle at NT, like I can see Rashard Lawrence playing DE and NT. He will rotate guys into position on the line and LB's to best defend the Offensive p...

re: LSU uniform with purple pants - djkevlar
I like the current white and yellow uniforms with the touch of purple. I do like the all White, Purple, and Gold vs. Yellow in the previous post. However, the purple pants with current white jersey and yellow helmet wouldn't be bad... I just don't want to turn into the west coast teams with 2...

re: LSU makes top 4 for 4* LB Will Ignot - djkevlar
Well if he has Auburn listed and he is a big Auburn fan or at least hates Alabama and likes Auburn for instate, there is no reason to even put Alabama up their. I mean his top four consists of two teams that hate Alabama. I think he is a silent LSU commit. Look at the teams he chose as his to...

re: Video: Dylan Moses True 40 Time? NIKE OPENING 2016 - djkevlar
Yeah he isn't the 6'1 ish, 210-215 lbs. 8th or 9th grader anymore. If I were him I wouldn't have tried to put on more than 220 lbs. Until I was enrolled early at LSU... Notice I dropped the when he is enrolled at LSU, not what if, :geauxtigers: Main point is lifting weights when you...

re: Clyde Edwards-Helaire looking pretty damn impressive at the Opening. - djkevlar
Watch his video on ESPN Recruiting site or whatever site you have access to. He is not just quick and shifty. He is slippery and super fast. He also is hard to see behind a big offensive line and he possesses the vision and leg strength to break tackles. I think the more and more people see hi...

re: Myles Brennan continues to impress - djkevlar
Who cares what he is ranked or how many stars he has... He is a baller, no doubt! Brimming with confidence. Something we at LSU have missed sorely, a QB that is not scared and is fearless. I think Lowell is fearless also. No matter which one ends up starting, they will both get their chances...

re: Shout out to all our receivers! - djkevlar
And with this many talented receivers, LSU can mix it up and rotate almost all if not all in for different looks. Junior year for Beckham and Landry, they had 1k yards each. It was their final year and there wasn't much depth... With the kind of depth now, they can become stars, not get used up...

re: Could be hard finding LSU tiger mascot when Mike VI dies - djkevlar
Fact of the matter is, once LSU gets the Tiger no matter the conditions he came from, the Tiger lives like a King at LSU. He is only in his cage on campus during the season, obviously, and spends the rest of the time on a large reserve. If anything LSU is helping to keep which ever Tiger they ge...
