re: Rahssan Thornton start from day one? - djkevlar
You guys are looking at this all wrong. Here is a list of players that will fill OLB spots: However I think that Divinity, Thornton, Key, and Anthony will see significant time at the OLB spot and most could play both SOLB and WOLB. So I am not eching this in stone, just don't forget about the g...

re: Only one real disappointment - djkevlar
I don't think Fowler will hurt as much as you think. We have a lot of DE/LB hybrids. With Garnett if he doesn't make the cut the first year, one of our DE/LB hybrids will step in and make a great ILB. Plus there is always the chance that D. White plays LB this year then would move to RB next year...

re: FWIW-Looks like Brent Musburger is all in on LSU & Fournette in 2016 - djkevlar
I like his prediction, but I hope the players don't read too much into it and think oh, we got this wrapped up. I know they wont, but they will enjoy the fact that the prediction meets the goal that LSU will have to work very hard to accomplish and I do have faith......

re: TQ is our best player... Only one that wants - djkevlar
I agree he is awesome, but he tried twice to drive the lane and force a foul for shots. He was 6-6 for 3's. I would just as well taken a loss from a solid 3 point shot from TQ. But good game and damn that Buddy Hield. They should have brought in Robinson III to tackle his ass, JK of course... ...

re: Why does DandyD think Christmas Giles - djkevlar
Because Rashan Gary or Ed Oliver is wavering and question their decisions. If we were to land one of them Giles would be the odd man out. Honestly I am not trying to be negative, but I was not all that impressed with his video's....

re: West Monroe's Layton Garnett invited for OV - djkevlar
These types of players are way underrated. He is a big ILB with great instincts and he has "Football" skills, so he is an athlete and a football player. Reason why some of these top recruits tank is grades and they don't get the game. I like this guy a lot and I think we should just offer him ...

The irony is that he is so athletic and muscular, that he could have easily been converted to a DT. And, I think he would have succeeded. ...

LSU vs. TAMU - djkevlar
LSU should have played Aaron Epps a lot more, with Victor and Simmons. Then started Quarterman and Hornsby. Maybe even started Malone, Victor, and Simmons with Aaron and Malone rotating out and Blakeney and Gray rotating in for Quarterman and Hornsby. We needed a larger frontcourt....

re: QB Recruiting - The Reality - djkevlar
I am not writing off McMillan or Etling. I am just assuming the status quo as of now is that B. Harris is our QB and the QB to beat. If Justin Mc. comes out this spring and is the best QB then I guess he will play. The only thing is that Les tends to give certain players the benefit of the doubt ...

QB Recruiting - The Reality - djkevlar
The reality is, that LSU does "NOT" have to sign a QB in this class. I know everyone is rushing to get a new QB this year, but fact of the matter is Brandon Harris is Good enough to manage the game. If Les will turn him loose and Cam Cameron to do their thing, I think Harris will be much improved ...

re: LSU fans, is Frank Wilson really a great recruiter? - djkevlar
Depending on how Frank Wilson does as a HC, I believe he will be back at LSU in a greater capacity or if he doesn't do well as a HC or he doesn't like it, I could see him coming back to LSU at some point in some capacity. But yes he is a good recruiter with really good connections. If he were go...

re: Saivion smith - djkevlar
What about Corey Thompson and Ed Paris. I know Paris is list as a CB/DB, but he has the size to play FS. I know Thompson has the size to back up J. Adams, and Jefferson is a damn good player. We have so many and I Suspect Aranda will bring blitz's and pressure from DB's and LB's. That will kee...

Depth Chart starting now and Possible Depth Chart as the year progresses: Cornerback - 1) White/Donte Jackson - CB -> I thought Donte Jackson played better than White this season, but white was injured, so we'll see who plays better to start this season. 2) KT II/X.
Not a single bit of credit to Alabama to be found LOL. I think they played about as well as they could have, and they were still down two scores in the fourth quarter.
Yes Alabama won, but I wouldn't be bragging about this win Gumps. Seriously, every score you guys had was a big p...

Frank Wilson - Taking UTSA Job! - djkevlar
Well, I am not sure who would be a good RB coach. I think the big question is who will replace him at recruiting coordinator? Maybe O takes over that job or Raymond, or does LSU bring in someone new. Oh, I know, we could hire Shea Patterson's brother as the Recruiting coordinator and then Shea ...

re: Lowell Narcisse leaning towards LSU - djkevlar
I like LF7, but this is not about a single persons quest for a Heisman or any other "Stat". The only stat we should be concerned with is the total of Wins vs. Losses, of course wanting the Wins to completely outway the Losses or having no losses at all. Winning an SEC Championship, Going to the CF...
