re: Arden Key weight - djkevlar
For him, shedding 20 lbs or shedding the slow weight for some extra muscle I could see him at 245. Gain more strength with no loss in quickness, speed, or movement....

re: Will you proclaim your allegiance to O if he makes it to ole miss undefeated? - djkevlar
LSU will win every game. No more carring about just 1 or 2 opponents:
Every opponent is what we care about and each will be crushed by our Defense and Run over each opponent by our Offense! !
...

Forget about only Alabama - djkevlar
We are going to play many good teams this year on the Road and at Home. We need people that can afford tickets and/or have the time to attend the event. Maybe you can't attend, but what if you could send fans to each away game. This year will be like none other in the history of LSU Football. W...

re: Does O keep Washington and Griffin? - djkevlar
Yeah LSU accepted the Rome, GA trio because of Adam Anderson and JaMarcus Chatman. Anderson has decommitted and didn't list LSU as one of his 5 top schools. Chatman switched to Tennessee. It looks like Griffin's friends helped him get an offer locked in at LSU, then they vanished. Now, as far as...

re: Justin Fields CB'd to 3 schools. Has to be trolling. - djkevlar
LSU has said they want him or nobody, because we have some major talent at QB. LSU will most likely play 2 qb's, Etling and McMillan. Plus we will have a few packages for Lindsey Scott....

re: Cameron Wire Commits! - djkevlar
Doesn't matter if he moves up or not. We want hard working talented guys. The guys ranked in the top espn 300 especially at the top often have a "Hey look at me, I am the best!", mentality. We want guys who love LSU, have great talent, room to grown, and great work ethic....

re: Kansas FB coaches having pep rally in New Orleans - djkevlar
Let me preface this with "I am not a Kansas fan in anyway shape or form". However, they aren't stupid. Even the lower ranked guys in Louisiana would be better recruits than what they have in Kansas. So yeah they won't take any big time recruits or any recruits big programs want, but they will p...

re: LSU is favorite behind only ALABAMA to win SEC this fall - djkevlar
I think LSU can and will win the SEC this year. The question is will the runner up in the SEC have a good enough record to make the playoffs?...

re: Nike The Opening in Atlanta - 2019 commit Kardell Thomas destroying linemen. - djkevlar
Obviously Kardell Thomas was killin it for the OL. But, Cole Smith has the type of build where he will definitely need to enroll early to put some weight on. Overall he did about average probably above average, like everyone said against guys as fast and twice as big. Overall he did well at th...

re: If you're freaking out about RB recruiting, go watch Patrick... - djkevlar
After watching his highlights. I would say he is a good RB, but has an excellent nose for the ball and whoever is carrying it. I think he will make an excellent LB. However, if we did need a RB, he could be forge into an excellent RB....

re: Dee Anderson or Drake Davis - djkevlar
Dee Anderson could have a season like Calvin Johnson(Megatron). He is built like Calvin Johnson. He is 6'5" 205 lbs. He could probably use about 10 more lbs of muscle, but I say he has a break out year. Davis has that opportunity also, but I think Dee's upside is greater as he could be Calvin Jo...

re: Basketball: How many available scholarships will Wade actually have? - djkevlar
I want LSU to recruit good basketball players, but I would skip over the guys who will be one and done. Ben Simmons really didn't help LSU basketball out much. Unless, Will Wade thinks he can keep a player for 2 years optimally 3 years....

re: Jimmy's Update of Spring Practice - djkevlar
At WR, I am telling you Dee Anderson is a sleeper. At 6'5" 205 lbs. He is fast, has good hands, can jump like a Basketball player, and much more. LSU has got to find a way to used him. Also, I think Derrick Dillon will be in the mix......

Don't forget about Kelvin Sheppard at LB. Also at DT, Michael Brockers was a monster. But there are so many at DT, it's hard to pick just 2-3....

re: Who will be LSU's starting QB this season? - djkevlar
Since Etling is graduating, I can see LSU using the next QB in line to play in games we take big leads for, because next year's QB competition will be brutal. With McMillan, Lowell, Brennan, and who knows probably Justin Rogers....

re: Instagram video of Lowell making a nice throw during scrimmage. - djkevlar
With Lowell, Brennan, and hopefully Justin Rogers, that will be enough QB's to last 4-5 years, that is if they all live up to their hype. Justin Rogers reminds me a bit of Brandon Harris, but Rogers seems to have a lot more confidence and I do believe Rogers is better, which is what Harris needed...

re: "LSU straight up beat UT for his services." - djkevlar
I watched his video. He looked very nimble for a 6'3" 350 lbs. OG. If he needs to trim a few lbs. what better place to do that than LSU. For a guy his size, dropping 20 lbs. is nothing and it rarely shows on a guy that big. What I liked about his video was solid technique, willingness to take ...
